"Jayj can we talk." Kie whispered, tapping on his shoulder once she got back from the dock.
He looked up at her, confused as to why she was so serious all the sudden
"Yea? What's up?" He asked
"Is everything okay?" Sarah asked, noticing there interaction
"Mhm" Kie said innocently as JJ stood up "we'll be right back"
She grabbed his hand and started leading him toward the house
Sarah and John b just looked at each other confused.
"Kie what's going on?" JJ asked as they walked inside.
Pope looked back and saw Kie take JJ inside. He knew she was about to tell him. He was a little scared that JJ would be agressive with him once he found out. He kissed his best friends girlfriend. He felt so bad.
"Okay before I tell you this, you need to promise me that you won't be mad" Kie said
"Mmm- that's not good" JJ said, taking a deep breath
"Just remember, okay- that he's drunk, and sad and probably not thinking clearly" Kie warned, stalling to tell him.
"Kie just tell me what happened" JJ said, getting nervous
"Pope just tried to kiss me" Kie said, scared to see how he would react
"What?!" JJ said, shocked. His eye brows raised and he leaned in a little
"Yea..." Kie said, nervously
"Did you... kiss him back or..?" JJ asked hesitantly
"What? No I didn't kiss him back" Kie said with attitude like it should be obvious
"Okay- just making sure" JJ said relieved. He scratched his head. "Like just now?"
"Yea when we were out on the dock" Kie explained
JJ nodded his head a little and bit the inside of his cheek as he thought
"Are you mad...?" Kie asked, a little scared
"Honestly..." he thought for a second "nah, I'm not"
"Really?" Kie said relieved that there wouldn't be a fight.
"Yea, I mean.. if you had just broke up with me I'd probably do some out of pocket shit too" JJ said, understanding
Kie chuckled a little, knowing that that was true.
"I mean, obviously I'm not cool with him doing that but.. I get that he's hurting right now, and, I'm not gonna get mad at him for it." JJ explained
"It looked like he knew he fucked up the second I pulled away too" Kie said "probably just out of impulse"
"I mean I'm probably gonna talk to him later, if that's okay" JJ said
"Yea, no that's fine I get it"Kie said
"I'm not gonna like, yell or get mad or anything." JJ reassured her "i just wanna talk- not tonight though"
"Okay" she nodded
"Hey, thanks for telling me" JJ smiled at how much he could trust her. He held out his hand and they did the pogue handshake
"Of course" she smiled and kissed him after they snapped.
They went to go back outside but when they did, pope was out on the porch, about to go in.
"JJ- I'm so sorry man, I didn't mean to-" pope said frantically but JJ kept a calm composure "I wasn't thinking I swear-"
"Hey, pope" JJ said, putting his hands on his shoulders "it's alright bro- don't freak out"
