PINAGMAMASDAN ko lang ang mga kilos na ginagawa ni Collette, inaasikaso niya iyong sampo.

“Daddy!” tawag ulit sa kanya ni Havelock.

Is he this hands on with his friend's daughter? What if it's really not his friend's at kanya talaga iyon?

“Yes, young man?” he answered.

Why does he sounds so gentle whenever he's talking with us? Like, literally.

“Daddy, i heard some of our neighbors, they're like saying 'Ugh! Ohh! Ahh! Sige pa!', what does it mean, Daddy?” biglang tanong niya.

At first, Collette was too stunned to speak. But then, he cough.

“Well, young man, it's an adult thing. That's how they do a baby.” sagot niya.

“Hala! So, magkakababy na po ako kasi sinabi ko iyon?” tanong niya.

Pinagtiklop ni Collette ang dalawang labi, tinagilid niya ang mukha at naningkit ang mga mata.

“Young man, it doesn't work like that, okay? But, don't worry....” sagot niya sa bata, hindi ko narinig yung sa huli dahil binulong na lang niya iyon doon.

Nagtataka ko siyang tinignan.

“Really po? You would teach me how to be a man once i grow up?” he asked.

Collette put his point finger at his lips before nodding.

“Our secret.”

“Yes, ssshhh, mommy might hear.”

“Yeah, you're right.”

Then, both of them giggled.

Napataas pa ang kilay ko. Anong to be a man? Nagtataka ko silang pinagpalitan ng tingin.

Nagkatitigan kami ni Collete pero ako na ang nag-iwas ng tingin which isn't what typically happens.

Nagtataka niya akong nilapitan at bumulong.

“What's wrong, honey?”

Hindi ko lang siya pinansin at kunwari ay binuklit buklit ang mga pahina ng librong binabasa ko kanina.

“Honey?” he called me again and even kissed shoulders.

But i, still didn't give him even a penny single attention.

“Hey, honey? What have i done this time? Hey, sorry, is it because of Starlette?”

Hindi ko ulit siya pinansin kahit na totoo naman ang sinabi niya. And i hate that i am feeling jealous over his fiancée. When in the first place i has no idea whom rights to be. I'm not sure sure just his mistress after all.

I can't even answer what my mind is asking. Hindi ko din alam kung bakit ko pinagseselosan si Starlette. When normally, even of they kiss in front of me, it will not gave me any meaning. Wala lang sa akin iyon dati. But now, i don't know why.
