Aria's pov:

Leo left in a hurry.

His whole face was red and he refused to even look me in the face.

I smirked evilly as I thought back. Stupid man thinking he could win against me. His arrogance was off the rails. Honestly how the hell could he ever think something so preposterous like that?

I shrugged. Oh well, at least now he knows who's the real boss.

I made my way down the hallway, I had just finished tying my hair up after getting changed and showering.

I was ecstatic to hear that Venus was here, I had gone over to her mansion or should I say palace because there was simply no way her house could be classed as a mansion, no, it was a palace. Anyways I truly enjoyed my time with Venus, we just got along so well.

I got to see a couple of shirtless men (by accident). Because Venus is in charge of training all of the guards that are in the mafia, she has to give them routines and intense work out strategies. Which means they end up throwing their shirts off half the time.

Venus lives in a heaven.

Especially her underground fighters that she signs under her company.

I did by accident walk into the gym room (Venus wanted me to work out with her) and see a man shirtless and running.

It did not have the same effect as seeing Leo shirtless did to me but it was shocking to say the least.

"Ria? Where you off to?"

I stopped walking and thinking of shirtless men. I turned to see Oliver poking his head out of his room door.

I scowled. My idiotic older brother.

The one who was supposed to be dead.

I sighed. "I'm gonna see Vee."

He scowled now. "Venus? Here? Why?"

"How the fuck am I supposed to know? I literally just found out about it just a few moments ago." I half lied.

Oliver dropped his mouth open. "You have GOT to stop hanging out with Leo. It is changing you!"

I snorted. 'Hanging out'?

"Oh Oliver, Me and Leo don't hang out we-" I started.

"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT." He covered his ears looking at me distraught.

"I was just going to say how we played board games?" I innocently answered back.

"I WILL force you to live in a nunnery." He threatened.

"I don't think they accept-" I was stopped, but not by Oliver's outraged facial expressions but by the sound of a group of people approaching us.

It was the elite team or whatever Leo's personal bodyguards were called.

The twins were squabbling amongst themselves like they normally did it seemed. Their white hair a stark contrast from the black uniform they wore. They were both in another heated discussion about their name.

"I said today is my day to be Isaac!" The one on the left spoke.

"Yeah well I didn't agree to that Isaiah." The one on the right replied.

"FUCK YOU. I'm not Isaiah! You are! Fucktard."

"Honestly I as Isaac would not be using such disgusting language."

"Yeah you fuckwad. That's exactly why I'm Isaac. Cos Isaac is the bad boy one. He uses the swear words. Isaiah is you."

I shook my head as I listened to this rather confusing conversation. Why did they each want to be Isaac so badly? What was so special about that specific name that they had to fight over it all the time.

Infront of them though was Vivienne who looked beautiful as always, her dreadlocks looking new and I smiled as I saw the hair rings glinting in her hair. Oh to look like Vivienne. I sighed.

Charles like always was right behind her, standing close to her just like he always did. I smiled again as I saw  him sneaking glances at her as he walked.

To think that they would be married soon. By next month, Vivienne and Charles were supposed to be getting married.

The plan was to have the wedding after the diamonds ball.

I couldn't be more excited. A wedding.

I was so jealous of her. Extremely. I've always dreamed of having a wedding. I had no idea who would be insane enough to decide to marry me but the thought of one made me giddy.

Then a bitter feeling spread through me.

Would I still be as giddy for a wedding when Leo would have to marry the woman that Rozario had chosen for him.

After all, Leo had a responsibility. I understood that better then anyone could ever understand, yet some part of me wished to be ignorant about it.

It was as if the whole thing would become fake if i didn't think about it. As if the whole thing wouldn't actually become a reality.

I'd have to leave in the end.

Becuase he'd marry another woman and i'd just be there, stuck in a time when the other woman did not exist.

"-ria, Aria?"

I snapped out of my rather depressive thoughts.

"Sorry what?" I shook my head.

All five of them peered at me looking as if I was the most interesting thing to look at.

"What?" I repeated.

"You got guns?" One of the twins asked me.

I scrunched my eyebrows up. Guns? Muscles? Hell yeah I did. However before I could relay my message the other twin spoke up.

"What Isaiah was trying to say was, you any good at using guns?"

I raised my eyebrows. Modesty? Now what the fuck was that?

I didn't spend the last 9 years of my life beaten up daily to not show of my skills.

"Yes. I can, very well too." I toned it down from what I had originally wanted to say and kept it short and sweet.

"Bullshit." Both twins and Charles immediately answered.

i scoffed. Excuse me?

First Leo declaring me weak, now his shitty little underlings also calling bullshit on me.

"Chase was telling us how you shot a man straight int the head." Vivienne gently explained, amusement adorning her face.

I thought back to when I was in the Chamber of Cards and how I had shot the man in the head after catching him spying.

"I did." I sassily answered back.

"No way." The twin on the left scoffed.

"It was just a fluke." The twin on the right spoke.

"Agreed." Charles finished.

Chase just snorted and Lyra also bit her lip. I wouldn't blame them.

The murderous intent on my face must have been rather evident as there was no way that the feeling that I was feeling could be contained.

"Oh really?" I challenged. "Lets see about that then, shall we?"
