Sirius transforms back into a human as Dorothy leans her broom against the wall.

"Where have you been?"

The pair jump at the sound of Molly's voice, "You left with no note! No idea if you both were safe! Sirius, you should know better! If they catch you God knows what will happen! What if they saw you with Dottie, what would that mean for her?"

"We're sorry?" Sirius says slowly.

Molly huffs and crosses her arms over her chest, "Come on, Molly. The girl has been locked up in this house for weeks, she's seventeen, she deserves a little adventure."

Dorothy just stands there, tugging on her sleeves as Molly's face softens, "I suppose you're right, Sirius. But next time, tell me when you're going to leave."

The pair nod their heads quickly as she disappears into the kitchen. "That woman scares me."

"Same."

Dorothy sits in the corner of the room, a book in her hand and a cup of tea beside her. Her knitted blanket given to her by Mrs. Weasley pulled over her knees.

Her eyes scan over the page as she reads in the dark room. The only light is the fire in front of her. The twins are somewhere upstairs pranking Ron, Ginny is in their shared room while the adults talk in the Kitchen.

"Elton?" She looks up to see Sirius standing in the doorway and offers a warm smile.

"Hey, Sirius."

He sits in the arm chair opposite her, "Molly tells me you're the Head Girl?"

She nods with a proud look on her face, "Head girl and finally Quidditch Captain."

"Congratulations. I was wondering if I could talk to you? Well, show you something."

He gets up and gestures for her to follow, she places the bookmark into her book and follows after him.

"Tonks and Moony told me what happened, with your father." She looks down and plays with the sleeves of her jumper. "You know, you mother spent quite some time in this house as a kid."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

He leads her into the room with a large tapestry showing the entire Black family. A few have their names burned off, just like she did.

She smiles at the image of her mother 'Narcissa Black, Lucius Malfoy, Dorothy Malfoy, Draco Malfoy.'

"At least I'm not burned off this one." She mutters to herself.

"But I am."

She follows Sirius to find his name burned off the tapestry along with Andromeda Black and a few more. "Dromeda married a muggle born, wasn't good enough for the family. I ran away when I was in school."

She traces her finger over the fabric of the tapestry.

Sirius watches with furrowed brows as she takes out her wand and burns off her own name, "I have a different family now."

She steps back to look at the tapestry of her family, The Black's, Malfoy's, Lestranges'.

"I have a better one."

He smiles and wraps an arm around her shoulders, "I wish I could've seen the look on my mother's face as you did that."
