Sincere laid in his bed and smiled at all the birthday comments that were pouring in. His birthday was literally his favorite holiday— today he had planned a nice dinner with those closest to him and tonight he was headed to a masquerade party at an gay bar that he only had invited his friend Zu, Mike, and Shakur too. It was a stretch to invite Shakur but he surprisingly agreed to go with.

He was up early because he also accepted Mikes offer to take him to brunch since he wanted to see him before tonight— Sincere was nervous because it had been a while since he had been on a date. Although he knew Mike he was still on edge about how it'd go.

The last three months had been going good— he and Shakur had only been 'cool' for a month now. It wasn't until Shakur literally dragged Sincere to one of his therapy sessions that he finally listened to anything Shakur had to say to him. He also voiced how he wanted to be able to do him and figure out his own self before just rushing into anything— Shakur had hurt him more than once and Sincere was done forgiving so easily. If Shakur wanted him how he claimed he did then he'd put in the extra work for him. Sincere also knew he had hurt Shakur' too and he wanted to heal and be a better person before pursuing any relationships. Rather it had been with Shakur or anyone else. Sincere needed to focus on himself for once.

The night Cassidy had mentioned Shakur' being raped had been eating at him— he wanted to ask him about it but he knew how touchy the subject was. Learning that had explained so much about Shakur for him— as bad as he wanted to comfort him he really didn't know how to approach such a topic. Shakur hadn't mentioned that night and neither did he. It had been three months now so, he figured it wa something that Shakur wasn't ready to open up to him about.

It was as if that night didn't exist to Shakur— Sin had also wanted to know if Shakur was really in-love with him or had he said that just to shut Cassidy up and get underneath her skin. That was another thing Shakur seemed to have forgot he said or he just didn't want to talk about that either. When he mentioned it in the therapy session Shakur had danced around it. Not giving him a direct answer.
