Arriving to the club— Shakur had already felt out of place. He was never really the club scene type of person because he never really had time to enjoy one. The only time he'd been in one was to carry out hits back when he was in the streets— not for pleasure but for business.

It was packed and it was as if Sincere was a damn celebrity or something because as soon as they walked in it was a banner plastered telling him happy birthday. Men immediately swarmed around him and started buying him drinks— Shakur was still irritated with the stunt he pulled earlier so he was quiet— quiter than he had ever been. Sincere noticed the vibes and decided to give him space, he was just happy he still showed up.

"What can I get you sexy?" The bartender asked Shakur as he sat at the bar.

Shakur looked at the options, "Four shots of Patron, and can you send a bottle of Remy and Hennessy up to the birthday' section?"

"Yes sir,"

Taking a deep breath Shakur tapped the counter as he waited for his shots. His eyes roamed the crowd— a lot of women and men had their masks on and some even had on costumes, being open with his sexuality was new to him so he chuckled at himself whenever he seen an attractive man. He was so used to fighting those thoughts that it always shocked him when a thought about any man came across— he had lived in a lie so long that he was still coming to terms with his truth. Therapy had helped out a whole lot.

For the past two months he had sessions twice a week, at first he didn't understand how talking to a complete stranger would help him but eventually he gave it a try and had been looking forward to his meetings every Monday and Thursday. He hadn't opened up a whole lot but it was enough and it was a start— their main focus was his anger right now and then his therapist wanted to get to the root of it all. His childhood, of course Shakur shut down each time he tried to dig deeper. He just wasn't ready to have those feelings or memories resurface at the moment. He knew he would have too but it was still too soon for him.

"Not you down here, when we up there?" He sucked his teeth hearing Zu.

He eyed him and took all four of his shots, "Don't come yo' ass here annoying me."

"My friend wants you up there, now get yo big mad ass on up' before these niggas try to be all on you."

Shakur laughed, "Y'all know I ain't finna' sit in no section with Michael. I'm cool where I'm at, I'm letting Sincere enjoy his birthday. I'm probably gone have a few more shots then leave— not feeling the vibe."

Zu shrugged, "He ain't gone like that— but I ain't Cupid or shît. Fuçk both y'all niggas forreal. Too much ass around to be worried about one. If you leave, be safe angry bird."

Shakur shook his head while Zu walked off and back up to the section. His eyes locked on Sincere who had been throwing shots back— he noticed how Mike had been doing his own thing and how Sincere didn't seem bothered by it but he had Zu to personally come get him so any men wouldn't approach him? He would've thought that since he was still fooling around with Mike he'd be more worried about the niggas and women surrounding him that he was engaging with and not him when nobody had even approached him.
