Chapter 19

When I got home from the Rez, I got out of the car and walked into the house. I walked into the house to the library where I sit on the couch. I grabbed the computer off of the coffee table. I took my notes out of my bag and started working on my science project. As I was working on my science project I noticed that Jasper wasn't back. It was getting dark and something just felt off. I shut my computer off because I couldn't study anymore. I went into the kitchen and made something simple for dinner. After I ate dinner I went upstairs to my room. I went into the closet to pull out some comforable legging and a nightshirt that had moon and stars on it along with pulling out a clean pair of unerware. I went in the bathroom and ran a bath in the jacuzzi tub. I lit a stress relief candle that was tea oil and Eucalyptus. Once the bath was ready I turned on the jets and stripped out of my cloths. I got into the bath and started to feel the tension leave my body. While I was sitting in the tub relaxing I heard the door open. I felt cool arms wrap around me, I heard in my ear "Hey Darlin," I turned around and saw Jasper. I said "hey how was your day?" Jasper said "It was fine, how was the Rez?" I said "it was a little stressful. I ran into the pack, and we came to an understanding. He is willing to help me with learning control of my shift and has offered me a place to run in wolf form." Jasper said "That's great news that Sam is willing to help with your shifts." When the water got cold I turned to Jasper and said "I better get out and head to bed." Jasper handed me a town and walked out so that I can get dressed. Once dressed I went into my room and crawled into bed. It didn't take me long before I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up with a feeling that something was going happen today and I don't know weather it was something good or bed. I got up and got dressed. I went downstairs and went into the kitchen to make something for breakfast. I had a few things that I still need to do in La push I wasn't quiet done with the project. I made my tea. I noticed that nobody was home I heard my phone go off with a text. It said "hey Darlin, Alice, Melody and I are out hunting and Alice wanted to go shopping. We will be home later. I hope that your project goes well. I love you" I text back "Have fun shopping I am heading to La Push to finish my science project and I love you too." I grabbed my phone, keys and my backpack. I walked out to my car and started to drive to La Push. When I got to the beach, I pulled out my back pack and walked along the beach to the tide pulls. I sat down on one of the rocks near the pools and was taking notes. While I was working on taking notes I could sense that I was being watched. I looked behind me and saw a guy with tan skin and short black hair. I think his name was Paul. He was just staring at me. I felt the same type of connection that I felt with Jasper when I first meet him. Paul walked over to me and said "hey, Emerald right?" I said "yea, and you are Paul we meet the yesterday." Paul nodded and said "I know that this sound crazy but I was wondeing if I could hang out with you and get to know you better." I said "sure, I know you are part of Sam's Pack. but I am with something i'm Just confused right now. This only happens once in a blue moon. but I haven't heard of a tribird having 2 mates." Paul grabbed my hand and "calm down Emmy, we will figure this out I imprinted on you yesterday and I want to know more about you." I nodded. Paul asked "how is the project coming along." I said "its fine, just have to write a paper yet." Paud said "that's great. Let's go grab lunch and we can talk more." I nodded and thought this is crazy but I feel like can talk to him about everything. We walked back to my car and I drove us to a dinner. When we got to the dinner we got out and went in. Once we were seated we looked at the menue. I ordered a burger and fries with a coke. Paul ordered the same thing. While we were waiting for the food Paul asked "What exacly are you?" I said "I'm a tribird. A witch, werewolf and vampire. The only difference is that I only need a smaller amount of animal blood everyday in a tea. I have all the qualies of both. I can also eat and sleep like everyone else." Paul said "that is really cool. So tell me about yourself." We talked about everything for an hour. The only thing that I didn't tell him was about my past. It was starting to get late and I needed to get back home to write the paper. I said "I should really get going I have to write my paper and talk to Jasper." Paul said "well there is a bon fire on friday and I was wondering if you wanted to go. The elders are going to be telling the legends of the tribe. I said "sure, here is my number." I gave Paul my number and headed out to the car. We drove back to the beach, I dropped Paul off and said "See you Friday and Can you give my number to Sam. He is suppose to be helping sometime on my shifting and taking control back." Paul said "Yeah no problem. See you friday I will text you the time and its going to be here on the beach." I nodded and drove off towards home.
