Chapter 30

 the phone rang when I heard the voice of Athena saying "Emmy is it really you?" I said "It is lass, I have missed you so much." Athena said "when did you escape and please tell me that bastard is dead if not my mates will hunt him down." I said "hes dead thanks to my wolf took over and killed him. everything got worse after you left." Athena said "Good he needed to be killed any way and I am sorry that things got worse for you. but I am so happy that you are safe and have found your mates. From what I have heard from Alice Jasper has been really good for you." I said "He is amazing and I can't wait for you to meet him. I want to meet your mates too and i'm not afraid to kick their ass if they hurt you." She started laughing and it was good to hear that I smiled. I said "Lena i have to turn in for the night but promise me that we will keep in touch." Athena said "I promise we are in this together like we were when we were captive. If you need anything Im alway here for you. good night" I said good bye to her and hung up the phone I was so glad that we talked and I can't wait to tell Jasper that I talked to her. It relieved alot of the guilt that i have had over the years. I went back to the library and continued to research the spells. I must have fallen asleep on the couch because I woke up to my alarm going off in the library. I sat up with books and papers everywhere I felt better that I got to talk to Athena. She sounded happy and i know that I was happy. I got up and ready for school. I made tea and then I grabbed a protein bar while grabbing my keys on the way out. As I was getting into the car I felt arms around me. I looked up to see Jasper. I said "good morning Major." Jasper asked "What has you so happy this morning darling?" I said "I talked to Athena last night and she and I were catching up. she also threatened to kick your but if you hurt me." Jasper smiled and said "i am glad you got back in contact with her again love." We got into the car and went to school. When we got to school Jasper opened my door for me. I saw Alice and Mel I ran toward them and gave them a hug I said "thank you lassies for putting me back in contact with Athena." Melody said "you are welcome we are glad we meet her she seems like a wonderful person but she has her hands full being mated to the kings." I said "I bet she does." We all walked to classes. The morning went by well soon it was time for lunch. I sat next to Jasper and everyone was sitting with us. Edward must have conviced Bella to go out of town this weekend. I was going to do a tracking spell this to help find this bitch that keeps coming around I know sam has been keeping the boys busy with patrols. I leaned against Jasper as I ate my lunch. It was nice to be around people that care. We were getting close to the end of the year and it was only a matter of time before the Athena's mates will show up demanding answers. After school Jasper and I just went back to my house. Jasper asked "have you figured out a way to contain where the battle is going to take place." I said "I found a few different way to contain it but it is only a matter of time before Athena's mates show up so I was going to call her and give her warning." Jasper said "they will step in when it is needed. But everyone will need training." I nodded and I showed Jasper all of the work that I have been doing. Jasper said "this is going to take some work are you sure that you are strong enough to contain it.?" I said "I should be able to its not a hard spell but it takes a lot of concentration." After showing Jasper everything he went home and I turned in for the night. As the weekend was nearing something felt off like something was coming and I had a feeling that Victoria was not working alone. When I walked out of the house Friday morning I found a note sitting under the windshield of my car. I looked at it closer and I got the chills it was in Jamies handwriting. I dropped my back pack and feel like I couldn't breath. I started to panic. I felt arms around my waist and I jumped. I turned around to find Jasper and I looked into the woods to see Paul standing there watching. Jasper asked "What's wrong?" I couldn't say the words. Jasper picked me up and took me back inside and sat me on the couch. I pulled my knees to my chest. Jasper draped a blanket over my shoulders. Jasper asked "what is that you have that in your hand?" I opened the letter and read it out load. It read "I finally found you. you thought that you could get a way from me. I know you thought that you killed me but think again I will come for you and then you will be wishing you were dead. You are an abomination and I will torture and then kill you then I will find that girl you helped escape. I am helping that red head who wants revenge for that Bella girl killing her mate. I look forward to seeing you again

After reading the letter I could feel Jasper wrap his arms around me. I could tell he was fighting the major. Jasper voice turned deep and I knew the Major had surfaced saying "He will never get near you darlin we will not allow it. He won't touch you ever again I will personally tear him to apart and burn the pieces myself." I nodded and snuggled agaist him I felt safe with my Major holding me. I just hope that Athena never finds out about this it could really bring back everything that we have been trying to move forward from. I said "Major I you make me feel safe with you and Jasper but if Jamie is apart of this fight that is coming then we all have to be ready and make sure that the wolves are trained. He is ruthless. I want to help you kill him for everything that he has put me through." Jasper said "I agree with you. You know him better than everyone else I think we need to get through school and train to get everyone better prepared." I sat there in Jaspers arms until his phone rang. He answered the phone and walked toward the kitchen. I did not want anyone else to find out what we had discovered this could be used against me if Edward or Bella found out.
