The trigger warnings, you are about to see only happen later in the book. A mafia book obviously has death and torture scenes so if you don't like that you can soil those bits if it makes you uncomfortable.
This book mostly is about the main character bonding with her brothers but things do happen so isn't entirely boring the second book definitely has a lot of action.
In this book, there is violence, torture, death, sexual assault, PTSD (although it's not written well), and MENTIONS of rape. There are no scenes written of rape it is only mentioned so please take that into consideration.
I am just going to say I find the start of tis book not very well written, it could've been better but the writing and everything else does get better so yeah.
