namjoon - how are you doing kid?

jungkook - i'm doing pretty good. i'm feeling a lot better

namjoon - that's a huge relief to hear. i was really worried about you

jungkook - yeah, i'm sorry

namjoon - no no, don't apologize. i'm glad you stood up for yourself and took a break. you needed it. plus it's been so long since you've seen your parents

jungkook - i think i've gained ten pounds just from dinner last night and breakfast today lmao. my mom is the best cook in the world :)

namjoon - i 100% agree

jungkook - we're making cookies right now. i'm bringing a bunch back; i know how much you love them

namjoon - oh my gosh yes i love your mom's cookies

jungkook - perfect :)

namjoon - well i just wanted to let you know that bang has given us a personal work day, so you aren't missing anything super important. bang must've realized that you taking this break means that we are all way too stressed and that we need a break. plus our 'conversation' with him probably helped as well

jungkook - yeah, finally

jungkook - how did that go last night? did you get america pushed back?

namjoon - no, unfortunately

namjoon - four days till you two leave

jungkook - i see

jungkook - thank you for trying

jungkook - we could've been in america rn if he didn't push it back the first time

namjoon - i wish i could've done more

namjoon - but, do you want to get dinner or something tonight or tomorrow? we can just talk and.. be normal friends

jungkook - i would love that

namjoon - just let me know whenever you want to :)

jungkook - how about tonight?

namjoon - i'll make a reservation then :)))

namjoon - well, i'll let you get back to your baking. tell your mom hi for me

jungkook - i will!

"She's still asleep?" Taehyung asked once he scanned the kitchen.

"Yep." Yoongi nodded, a big cup of coffee in his hands, eyes almost shut from drowsiness. "Haven't seen or heard from her yet today."

"Let her sleep." Namjoon mumbled, messing with his cereal. "She's gotta go to America in a few days. She needs as much sleep as possible."

"What should we do with her today?" Hoseok questioned, putting jam on his toasted bread. "Bang gave us the day, so we should probably do something, don't you think?"

"But doing nothing is just as fun." Yoongi grumbled, picking up his coffee and walking to the stairs. "I'm going back to bed. Wake me when it's time for dance practice."

"Do you want lunch?" Hoseok called out, Yoongi's bedhead quite horrendous from the back.

"No."

'Kaia wandered through the halls of Lily's orphanage, confused as to where she was. It's been so long since she's been here. Kaia's eyes widened with happiness as she saw Lily exit a room down the hall. "Lily!" Kaia called out, running to her sister. "Hey! It's been-" Kaia froze as she watched Lily walk down the stairs, holding a teddy bear against her chest. "Lily?" Kaia hurried after her, not knowing why her sister wasn't responding to her. "Isn't that mine...?"
