Cassandra Marie Sloan Shepherd or Cassie, she the younger half sister of Derek Shepherd and Mark Sloan. She's a third year resident at Seattle Grace, following in her older brothers footsteps to becoming a surgeon.

Cassandra is standing at the nurses station in the ER when Jackson comes in with the paramedics and a man on the board.
" Call my driver and tell him there is still time to make my flight if he comes straight here." The man on the board says looking at Jackson.
" You passed out in a restaurant and you have abdominal pain. You're not getting on a plane." Jackson says a bit annoyed at the man.
" The pain is gone. Whatever's caused it can wait till I get home. Let me off of this thing." The man continues to complain to Jackson.
Christina hurries over and Cassandra follows after her.
"I've got this, Go get scrubs Yang" Jacksons says.
" You need to stay calm so I can do a proper examination." Christina says, ignoring Jackson.
" Tell the ladies to back off, Jackie." The man says.
" Jackie?" Cassandra says trying not to let out a little laugh.
" Whatever, That's not... Look I've already paged Bailey. He's not Cardio so you can lose interest." Jackson says looking at Christina who keeps examining the man.
" We'll see about that." Christina says, looking at Jackson before turning to the man on the gurney. " Sir, I'm a surgeon. A very good one."
" So is my grandson, So why don't you take your hands off me." The man says.
" He's your grandfather?" Cassandra asks, looking at Jackson.
" Yeah, But seriously I can handle this until Bailey gets here." Jackson says, looking at Cassandra.
" No, You are not allowed to treat family members and he has a mid-epigastric tenderness and guarding. It could be an ascending cholangitis." Christina says, still examining the man.
" Ascending cholangitis? Really?" The man says. " With only one of the symptoms of Charcot's triad?"
" You're a doctor?" Christina asks, surprised.
" Apparently a much better one than you. Dr. Harper Avery and your name, doctor?" The man says, holding out his hand.
Hearing that Cassandra turns to Jackson who just smiles back.
" Harper Avery..." Christina mumbles.
" No, That's my name." The man says.
" As in the Harper Avery Awards?" Christian asks, looking at him.
"Bingo." He says before turning to Jackson, "Get a new surgeon, Jackie. One with a plus this time." He says, then he looks over at Cassandra " You young lady are very pretty."
" Thank you." Cassandra says with a small smile not sure what to do.
" You're Harper Avery's grandson?" Christina asks, staring at Jackson.
