The Mayor debated on what to put on the postcard from Barbados. Some thoughts:
Wish you were here.
Glad you are not here.
What's up?
Missing you.
Why?
But he settled on nothing. Just the card. He knew the recipient would know who sent the card by the location alone. It was a risk. He probably could have remained hidden forever, but he did not want to spend the rest of his life running. Besides, he missed all the fun and he just had to tell someone his secret, what he did, he was quite proud of himself. He was ready to come home.
Mayor Humble Booker mailed the postcard with an address where he could be reached to his long-time friend and part-time employer, the Collector.
