Sister Burton,

When The Lord stood in the boat put fourth His hand the seas were calmed...... were they not?
He controls the elements. He controls the very make up of our cells. Does not the dead return at His command only to have life enter again to the body? The creator of this earth and all that here in it dwells, He is of such the architect I declare.
A blessing I say unto you Gussy that in our lives when the seas are rough He whispers a tender mercy...... "Be still!"

What does it mean to be still?
We hear the words to do so but I submit to you Gussy that it's an action. Imagine that. Ponder this I say:
To stand still, or to be still is that we [listen]!
How does one listen you may ask? One listens when what is received is acted upon!
1) We acknowledge The Lord.
2) We give thanks for His matchless power & mercy.
3) Our faith is increased and abilities strengthened.
4) We witness miracles as an everyday occurrence.
5) We are renewed, born again. His countenance is our's.

Never again Halle think of "be still" as one that waits. We don't wait when the spirit prompts.
We don't wait when the spirit directs. We don't sit when the spirit renews our feet. We open our mouths as servants of The Lord and speak.
Oh I say,........ to be still is to be on holy ground!
To be still is to obey. To be still is that we are carried to a mountain top becoming special witnesses to all that The Father has. We embrace the struggles. We take upon us courage; fore,
is it not so that upon the wings of them we fly?

There upon the plains of The Great Smoky Valley a creature I have come to know.
Come Gussy........ come and see!.............

High above all that is around we are on
Arc Dome. A glaciatic tomb and highest peak in the Toyiabe Mtn Range at almost 12,000'.
Look Gussy, them that are our ancestors.
They were nomadic. Hunter's of the land.
Gather's and protector's of plants, trees, rocks, & animals.
They come from the granite snow peak of the Great Arc Dome & in those even higher mtn peak tops among the Toquima Range, stretching from Monitor Valley to the expanses of the Reese River Valley beyond the timelessness Plains of
Ione Valley. This is our tribal land. Our direct descendants come from here. Our Native Band. We are of the Battle Mtn/Reece River Band.
They are now among the armies of the dead.
They are alive. The time will come when the great gathering of all our family will take place.
We will know them; fore, they already know our doings and know us.

Look Gussy! You turn and in the distance you see a large object coming towards us. You say, "What is that I see?" No sooner than you say, a giant Golden Eagle lands on a large rock over looking the edge of our view. Sitting, his talons long and arrow sharp. His shoulders as tall as it were to our chest. Eyes yellow and piercing coal black.
Beak curved and perfect. I acknowledge him.
I say that it's good to see an ol' friend once again. I speak to him without words. I say that you are my daughter. He turns and looks at you.
He studies you. The wind starts to blow as a blessing is pronounced upon you.
He says, "I know her name!" as I was getting ready to tell him I smiled.
You say to me, "Dad are you talking somehow to this bird?" I whisper to you, "Yes!"
You are amazed. Your eyes fasten to his.
Without speaking words He says,
"Hello Halle Ione."
"Freedom is my name!" He declares.
I am as old as what you see. I am one who holds the wind. I am an elder to the people of this land. All you see are the lands of this my people.
The lands of your people Halle Ione.
"Dad, he speaks!" You exclaim!
"Yes, This I know" I said.
"Dad, he told me his name. Freedom! Freedom is his name!" You lean in closer to me and whisper, "How does he hold the wind?"
You are filled with awe as you look across the expanse over the land. Time stood still.
Freedom went on to speak to you:

Look- West to the towering peaks of the
Great White Mtns & Mt. Whitney to beyond the sands of the Mojave.
Look- East to Mt Moriah into the Snake River Valley at the border lands of our friends the Goshute's and the Alps of The mighty Ruby Mtns.
Look- South towards the River of the Colorado our friends The Cliff Dwellers of the Anasazi.
Look- North upon the valleys and plateau's of the high desert of Ione, Antelope, & Buffalo Valley's beyond Fish Lake Basin bordering the people of the Paiutes, to the grand peak Tenabo a birth place of the earth and further north to
Matterhorn Peak in the Independence Mtns.
The people of The Great Basin I say to you.
Ancestral lands of the Western Shoshone.
A heritage unto your tribal family Halle Ione.

Part two later on........... :)

I love you Gussy. You are a special spirit. You are serving The Lord and will continue to do so till the day is at hand that it is said, "It is finished."

I say unto you my dear daughter:
{May the blessings of happiness always surround you. Sorrow and sadness never hold you.
The promises of heaven be bestowed upon you.
Behold the powers of heaven fill your soul that your eyes will see, ears to listen, shoulders to bear, and feet to serve.
Upon holy ground tread as you stand still.
Be it known for all, the bands of death are broken. The very cords of hell around our souls loosened and if we so choose be partakers of that fruit most choice above all, yea, even that fruit from the tree of life; made possible through His Atonement. Timeless and one eternal round exists in the presence of The Father, yea a fullness of joy for all that are faithful and endure to the end;
of which I say, it is so even with you Halle Ione.}

You are entering that period of time in the mission what I call the testifying time. What this means is that you know enough about what it is to be a missionary that from here on out you testify like never before. You make this the leading factor in all you do.
Testify to the members.
Testify to the investigators.
Testify to the strangers.
Testify to the leaders of the lands both civic and church appointed.
Testify to the earth.
The wind will carry your words. The spirit will testify of their truthfulness. Be not afraid.
Afraid in this context means don't hold back.
Don't second guess. Speak and you'll know what to say. A closed mouth says nothing.
We do believe in angels. Will they not bear you up as you serve? I say yes!
Every day, every day, every day!

Go to with a purpose so direct as was Arron's.
Be bold and serve with love.
Testify of the restored gospel.
I love you and always think of you.
Pray for you, I do.
Believe in you, always.
Hope in you, forever.
Have faith in you,........ unshakably!
Stand with you,- 'be still'
