Good morning Sister Burton,

What a wonderful opportunity to start another day. I thank our Heavenly Father for this day and time that I have to perform my labor's as member of His church and be a patriarch of this our family in this last and great dispensation of time!
Actually suffice it to say....................my heart
is full.

Take full advantage each morning to have those quiet discussions with The Lord. The spirit will teach you. I ask about the creation, the meaning of temple covenants, the ancestors, how to apply scripture teachings, the purpose of the squirrel and antelope, yet in all this the spirit
whispers..........look!

I pray for you many times a day. Pray for your safety and success in finding lost souls bringing them to the fullness of the gospel. I pray for your happiness always to be full and for any sorrow to be no more. But more than that Gussy I pray to be close to you; fore through prayer, I can be in your presence. Love you more than all the snowflakes in the daytime sky.

Thank you for your awesome letter to me.
I opened up my first one on the first of Jan.
You are an inspiration to me. You teach me and lift me to greater heights. I'm truly blessed to have been given the chance to be your dad.
You make me smile and because of your sweet spirit I'm renewed. What an incredible and amazing woman you are. A true mother in Zion you will be. One who will raise up warriors to the
The Lord. A righteous branch your son's will come from who will have faith and an understanding
of their priesthood authority as they serve.
They will be covenant keepers from on high. Protectors of the Saints of God, wielding the sword of Laban and carrying on their shoulders and backs the faithful to safely return them to the iron rod where your son's names will be shouted out with hosanna's; blessed they will be forever.

I set Hyland apart to the office of priest Sunday.
He has great potential and was reminded of the importance and urgency of becoming the man that he is to be through serving as a priest and preparing for a mission, then marrying in the temple. What a blessing it is to make and keep covenants. Through our obedience we are promised to have the spirit. Through our obedience we are promised to taste that fruit which is most desirous. Through our obedience we walk with The Great Messiah,
The Savior, even our Redeemer; every day,
every day, every day.

I had missionaries study and learn the scriptures and all points of the gospel but struggled teaching. They had strong testimonies but struggled teaching. They understood sacrifice and sacred things but struggled teaching.
I worked with them all as a Zone Leader & AP
my seven greenies and on splits with Elder's and sister's, leadership seminars be it with mission zone conferences, ward councils, stake committee meetings, and area presidency training assignments.
Through it all Sister Burton there was a quality that they missed time and time again.
I'll tell you what it was............ ready?
Here it is: They couldn't relate to the people they were teaching; therefore, their message wasn't getting through. You must teach to their level first always {trailering} to their needs. They would say how can I relate to them? I would look then in the eyes smile and say, "love them". "Love them with all your heart. You are on The Lord's errand and then do as He would. Look into their soul through
the eyes and the spirit will tell you how best
to apply gospel principles to them."

We will be crowned as heirs to a Celestial life to rule in the heavens through all eternity.
The lessons in mortality will prove us worthy to be called Kings and Queens to dwell forever more in His presence God The Father and alongside
Jesus Christ our master whom we serve.
Stand tall in the Great Ohio Mission.
Love you Gussy. Love you forever and ever.
