Sister Burton,
My thoughts are of you each day. I think of you studying, praying, teaching, leaving your apartment to find and meet investigators.
Know that your efforts are blessed.
Be of good cheer. You are about the work of angels. You are a missionary declaring glad tidings of great joy! Your time is short compared to the big picture of your life. You will think back on your experiences and be glad the challenge of such memories are over. Yet your heart will break and cry out for the many closed doors and no's!
You will always carry with you the impression the mission made on your soul. You are a changed daughter of God. You are among a select few who have done battle for them who knew not where to turn spiritually.
Take courage Gussy, for it is in the purpose that you will find your deepest desire to serve.
Courage always follows commitment when we are committed to our purpose we dream!
Be a dreamer. Be visionary. Be exampletory.
