Faye was at the table of commanders, listening to them all argue about what to do about her people.

"Kill them all." Sheidheda's voice rang in her head. The Separation Ritual was recently completed, but his voice still haunted her.

Faye woke up in a sweat as she looked around the room to find Bellamy standing near the open door. It took her a minute to realize where she was.

"Sorry, didn't mean to wake up." He said, grabbing his jacket from the desk chair.

"I don't want to kick you out of your room. You need to sleep too." Faye told him. She pulled her knees close to her chest and stared at the wall.

Bellamy noticed her distant look and walked towards the bed. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked her, sitting next to her on the bed.

"What if this doesn't work? What if Raven can't make Nightbloods? I have no way to save my people." Faye admitted.

"Raven knows what shes doing. Polis and Arkadia will be the first to get the Nightblood. Then everyone will survive."

Bellamy pulled Faye into a soft embrace. But Faye could not shake the feeling that even with the help of former commanders, she could not be the leader her people needed.

"Sectors 3, 4, and 5 sustained the worst damage. We lost the server room, all of our processors, and life support systems, and half of our living quarters. Now, backup power will keep the lights on at night in the rooms that survived, but we'll have no heat or running water. and no way to restore or reseal the ship before the radiation gets here." Monty explained to the group.

"Is there any good news?" Bellamy asked.

"Well, no one died." Kane said.

"Forget the Ark." Clarke said, entering the room. "It was never gonna save us all anyway. We need to focus our resources on the Nightblood solution. Is the fuel loaded?" She asked them.

"It's in process, but, Clarke, it isn't gonna be an easy ride." Bellamy told her.

"What don't I know?" Clarke asked, looking around the room.

"With the secret of Praimfaya out, Faye and I sent Echo and my army back to Polis, along with Indra and a few of Trikru's warriors, to keep the peace." Roan said.

"Well, that's good. We need peace to distribute the cure." Clarke said.

"More than half of them deserted on the way. With the end coming, they want to be home. I don't blame them." Roan shrugged.

"Do you blame them for burning Trikru villages as they go?" Bellamy demanded, knowing about the fires being set.

"That's funny coming from you."

"Enough." Faye said.

"She's right. We know the woods are a war zone. After what happened with Ilian, I can't spare many of the guards to protect you." Kane said.

"My security detail can protect us." Roan offered.

"Thank you. That's very generous." Kane thanked him with a small nod.

"We are all in this together now." Roan said. He then left.

"I'm gonna check on Octavia before we go." Bellamy and Monty left.

When it was time to leave Faye offered to stay in the following truck. It was a long drive with a dangerous chemical, and a silent drive.

Suddenly the truck stopped and they all looked at the hydrazine tanks cautiously.

"Looks like a Trikru checkpoint. Stay alert, show no weapons. Keep your passengers on ice." Faye heard Bellamy from the front.

Roan and Faye looked at each other, hearing Bellamy chase after Clarke.

Suddenly a little boy spotted everyone in the back of the truck. A warrior pulled out his knife but Roan stopped him.

"Azgeda!" The boy ran away screaming. "Azgeda!"

Faye was about to jump out and calm the people from Trikru but Roan grabbed her arm.

"No. We're moving."

Archers aimed for people in the back, only getting one who stood in front of the tanks.

They stopped again and this time Roan and Faye got out.

"Ice melt." Roan said, looking at a river that was blocking their way. "I'll find us a place to cross upstream."

"Wait." Clarke stopped him. "Take the rover. You'll cover more ground and it'll be safer."

"With him?" Bellamy asked.

"We have to get across the river. The rest of us will stay here and guard the fuel." Clarke said.

"We won't be long." Bellamy told them, agreeing to the plan. "Eyes sharp."

"Yes, sir."

Bellamy and Roan got into the rover and took off upstream.

In only a few short minutes Azgeda turned on Clarke and Faye. Throwing them in the truck and driving away after killing one of their own.
