Everyone gathered before the palace to listen to what Delilah called, "First Confession".

Russell made a speech and made amends with the woman to his left, Kaylee. She hugged him with forgiveness and everyone applauded.

"And now it's your turn. Tell your neighbor that you love them. Make amends for those you've hurt. Free yourselves." Russell said.

Faye looked around. Everyone around her turned to the person next to them and gave each other a hug. These people were free and happy.

A recording played as everyone went to the tavern to write down their sins and tying them to lanterns that would light up the night sky.

Faye watched everyone write theirs down with little hesitation. She simply stared at a blank paper. She wasn't struggling to think of something, she was struggling to think of just one.

Maybe by the time they settle into this place, Faye will have survived enough Naming Days to learn to live with her sins, but there aren't enough days to get rid of them.

What she wrote would soon belong to the sky and no one would ever see it.

Everyone went to a party that was being held in the great hall.

"Go on." Faye pushed Clarke towards the doctor, who dragged her onto the dance floor. Faye watched Clarke smile and follow his dancing.

Faye saw Bellamy standing alone in a corner.

"Hey." she said to him. "What's wrong?" She asked, even if she knew he probably didn't want to talk to her.

"So the last time I was at a party, my sister was arrested." He said.

"Bellamy, if you're gonna tear yourself apart over leaving her, let's go get her." Echo had told Faye that Bellamy left her in the woods, leaving her on her own.

"No, this isn't me tearing myself apart, okay? This is me being human--feeling things when people I love are in trouble or die. The Faye I knew before the Flame did that. Why don't you?" Bellamy said.

"This isn't about me." Faye reminded him.

"No? We lost Monty and Harper 3 days ago. How do you feel about that?" He asked. "'Cause I have no idea. I lost my sister yesterday. It's gonna take me a little while to feel nothing, like a ruthless Commander. But I'll keep trying."

Bellamy didn't look at her. If this was about this morning, Bellamy had every right to be mad at her, but he hadn't mentioned that. This was about his sister, and leaving her behind was bringing up all the bad things.

After a few hours of beating himself up, Bellamy went back to the tavern. He saw Faye sitting alone at a table in the back.

"Hey. Look, I'm a jerk. I was taking my feelings about Octavia out on you. And I'm sorry." Bellamy said, sitting across from her.

"I do miss them." Faye said, but her face was still cold, even if her words were breaking. "Monty and Harper. Just because I feel emotions, doesn't mean I have to show them. That was my entire life."

"I know. I know." Bellamy reached for her hand, finally getting her to look up at him.

"You were right. I feel myself closing down again." Faye said.

"Of course you are. We've been fighting to survive since the moment we reunited on the ground." Bellamy said.

"I've been fighting to survive all my life. When the Flamekeepers found me, my brother refused to let me go. He gave me a dagger and told me it was good luck. I ran away and left the dagger to someone who would do better. Now I can barely remember him or Lexa." Faye bit the inside of her cheek. "I barely had time to mourn either of them."

"Come here." Bellamy went to sit closer to her. "I hate that that happened to you. But everything we've been through has brought us here. From now on, we look forward, not back."

"Bellamy..." Faye pulled away, wanting to tell him everything. Sheidheda was watching her through the mirror across the room.

"Kill him."

"Hmm?" Bellamy looked at her, waiting for her to finish.

"It's time to release the lanterns. Come on." She pulled his hand and grabbed her lantern.

The lanterns were released and they all began to float away, joining the stars. Faye thought it was beautiful, they never had anything like this on Earth.

The lanterns were quickly burned when they reached the shield.

"That was short lived." Echo said, standing next to Rich.

The next few chapters are going to be slow coming because I forgot everything that happened in the last two seasons so I am rewatching those now. For now, only one or two chapters will be posted a day.
