"Take you and Faye, for instance." Josephine said. She had been nonstop talking sicmnce they had been captured by the Children of Gabriel.

Bellamy didn't know how long he could deal with her constant talking.

"Now that's a weird relationship, isn't it? First you want to kill her and all her people, then you become besties, bonding over the genocide at Mount Weather. You both fall in love but she becomes Commander. You lock her up, she locks you up. You leave her on Earth, she leaves you to die in the fighting pits. I mean, it's exhausting, frankly."

"She didn't leave me." Bellamy knew that, he didn't need Josephine narrating his entire life with her. "You're wrong about how this ends, by the way. First, we get you back into your mind drive, and then I'll use it for a peace deal with your father."

"Your belief in yourself is cute. But unfortunately, putting aside about a thousand variable, chief among them Clarke's newfound evangelical, do better-ism, making it impossible for her to accept a peace deal with those awful body snatchers, all 3 of us are gonna die in those cave." Josephine explained.

"Yeah, okay. We'll see."

"Okay, now your confidence is just pissing me off."

"What are you doing?" Sheidheda demanded when Faye entered the dream space.

Faye sat silently across the table, her fists balked at her sides.

"Why are you still fighting me?"

"I'm not." Faye insisted.

"You cling to your weakness like it is your last breath." Sheidheda accused, standing from his seat and walking around Faye.

"I have no weaknesses."

"Hodnes laik kwelnes." He said. "Forget about the boy."

"Love may have been your weakness, but it is not mine." Faye shot out of her seat. "I will not become a monster like you." She spat in his face, to which he was not insulted. But he was right, Faye did still hold onto Bellamy, even if he wasn't here to comfort and help her.

Faye let go of the dream space and opened her eyes.

"Gaia." Everyone was shocked to see the exiled Flamekeeper being thrown in the prison with them.

"Are you all right?" Jackson asked.

"Thought you were banished?" Miller asked.

"She was!" Faye said from across the cell. "We should have killed you when we had the chance."

"Don't worry, Heda. You'll get your chance soon because we're all getting out of here tonight." Gaia said, ignoring Faye's threat.

"Echo?" Emori asked.

"During the execution. Rest easy, Murphy. The only person dying tonight is Russell."

The group was silent, only a few people were whispering among themselves.

"Hey." Miller walked over to Faye. "Is the old Faye still in there? I kinda wanna talk to her."

Miller watched her look at him with confusion, tilting her head to the side.

"Miller, it's still me. I'm still Faye." The girl said.

"Maybe, but you're not the same Faye who risked her life to save everyone in the City of Light. Or the Faye who stood up to Blodreina." Miller said.

"Nate, I'm still that person." Faye said, letting out a small sigh. She tried to convince him with a light smile, but even she knew he was right.

"Then why don't you act like her. The old Faye wouldn't worry about the killing the Primes, she'd only be worried about Bellamy." Miller said.

"And I am." Faye insisted.
