I'm going insane.

I've been stuck at home since I was released from the hospital, I haven't left once and I'm going insane. I've actually started to miss school, which has never happened.

The second I got home from the hospital nine days ago I stripped and ripped apart my whole bedroom. Everything. My Mom was definitely not the happiest about it whereas my Dad actually helped to destroy all my crap. Ki tried helping as well but left in tantrum when Dad wouldn't let her use the sledgehammer which was too heavy and big for her.

Sleeping has been a real bitch to me. I slept amazingly with Lexi curled up around me, but since then every-time I fall asleep I wake up in sweats and my breathing is crazy and I'm shaking. I haven't had a nightmare since I was a kid and they've suddenly come back.

Even when I take naps I wake up after an hour from a nightmare, I don't even know how to describe them. So I spend my nights staring up at the ceiling trying to freeze my thoughts.

It's Saturday and I'm lying on the couch like I have been for what feels like forever "Ki!" I yell, she doesn't reply back "Kiara!", she's been in a mood with me since I got her a swear jar for Christmas.

"What!" She appears in front of me.

"Would you be an amazing person and put my phone on charge, please?" I ask her and she looks at me as if I've just asked her the most distressing question ever.

"Lazy" she mumbles taking my phone off me and plugging it in, "how come Lexi hasn't been over in forever?" She asks me turning around to face me again.

"She's been very busy"

"With what, ignoring you!" She slaps my forehead before storming off upstairs again.

There's a knock at the door, it takes everything out of me to pull myself up from the crouch, making it to the front door I open it. To my surprise I see Sydney stood there, she's crying.

"Hey, what's the matter?" I pull her inside and into my arms, I waited for her crying to calm down before I spoke again. "Sydney?" She lifted her head up "why are you crying?" I ask.

"I know what happened" she speaks but her voice is barely a whisper.

"What do you mean?"

"That night, at the party. I know what happened" shit.

She looks at me dead in the eye. She knows. I can tell by the way she's looking at me "how do you know?", she doesn't answer me straight away. She pauses and wipes her eyes.

"The same thing happened to me"

I lead her to couch to sit down, I sit down next to her and face myself in her direction. She doesn't look at me, she looks down at her fiddling hands in her lap.

"I've never told anyone this" her voice breaks, "a few years ago my brother had a party as our house to celebrate him graduating, he had a lot of people over so I stayed upstairs in my room away from everyone. I then made the decision to go downstairs just to get a drink" she clears her throat "I bumped into one of my brothers friends at the bottom of the stairs, we were just talking. I told him I just came down to get some water, he said he'd get it for me as there was a lot of people"

"He came back a couple minutes later, I took it from him and accepted it as I was naive and stupid. We continued talking for a while and then I began feeling a little lightheaded and drowsy, he walked me upstairs and into my bedroom. All I remember is then falling asleep with him on top of me" Sydney runs her hands over her face and through her hair, her chest is heaving up and down from her heavy quick breathing.
