"You free this afternoon?" Chie nudges my shoulder after class.
"I should be," I nod.
"Sweet," she grins. "Train with me?"
"Woah, hey." Yosuke butts in harshly. "You said you weren't well."
"...Oh," I mumble. "W-well, I'm not, but-"
"You just don't wanna hang out with me?"
"Yosuke, don't be like that," Chie groans.
He bites his lip. "Coulda just said, man. Coulda just said you had more important stuff to deal with."
"That's not true," I frown.
"You've just proved my point," he scoffs.
"I'll hang out with you."
"Now you wanna hang out?"
"Just accept the damn offer, alright?" Chie snaps. "Stop makin' a big deal outta it."
"...Okay," he sighs. "Riverbank?"
I smile lightly, nodding.

Kanji: Sorry Senpai
Kanji: Didn't mean for
you to embarrass yourself
Yu: Well, I did, didn't I?
"Who're you texting?" Yosuke asks, closing his shoe locker.
"No one," I mumble.
Kanji
Kanji: Now you know, right?
Yu: I think I liked it better
when I thought I actually
did have a chance.
Kanji: Maybe it is time
Kanji: You know, to move on
Yu: You don't get it.
Yu: I can't.
Yu: I am completely and utterly
in love with him.
"Helloooo?" Yosuke sings, waving a hand before my face.
"H-hey," I grumble, pushing his arm back.
He frowns, staring at my cell.
"...What's up?" I ask.
His face suddenly brightens. "It's her, isn't it?"
"...Huh?"
"Your girl!" He chuckles.
"My...? O-oh, no... Uh... No, not this time."
"Dude, you lie so bad," he smirks.
"I- I'm serious, Yosuke..."
"Lemme see." He reaches up to snatch my phone out of my hand, already scrolling backwards.
"Give it back," I plead.
