Yosuke's POV:

"Yosuke!" Teddie calls from downstairs. "Dad says you're working today!"

I groan, clutching my pillow tighter. "It's not my shift today," I muffle into the pillow.

"Hurry up!" He yells.

~~~
Yawning, I head over to the shelves.
I have to snap myself awake to realize just what's in stock.
Calamity Ruins 2!?
No freaking way!
I look around, expecting everyone to be crowding around to see the greatest movie ever's sequel. Nobody gives a damn.
Shit... I never knew we had these in stock! I mean... what the hell!?
I pick up the box, smile widening.
Maybe I'll be able to watch this with Yu after all.
That, and I so gotta tell Yuna. I bet she'll geek, too.
"You'll be lucky if I don't tell your dad about this," Suzuki snickers, standing behind me.
"Shit, dude." I jump, gripping the box even tighter. "Don't sneak up on me like that."
"You can't just take it," he smirks, folding his arms.
"Like I was gonna do that," I scoff. "Of course I was gonna pay."
"Hm," he nods slowly. "And I'll need to be paid to keep my silence."
"Are you for real?" I furrow a brow.
"C'mon, Hanamura," he chuckles. "You're on the clock, man. Imagine how bad this is gonna look for the store's reputation."
I sigh, putting the disk back on the rack. "Whatever, man."
"And I bet lovergirl isn't into guys like that."
I look back to him, eyes widening. "Lovergirl?
"Yeah," he shrugs. "Your... distraction girl?"
"Yuna?"
"Her," he nods.
I bite my lip. "You're right."
"She hasn't dumped you already, has she?" He mutters.
"No," I shake my head. "Things are just difficult."
"How so?"
"I can't talk to her," I say. "I mean, I can, but I can't."
He narrows his eyes.
"I- I know it's stupid—"
"Invite her over to your place," he suggests. "With no ulterior motives."
"Dude, I'm not that much of a perv."
Yeah, yeah, I know it's a lie.
"So do it," he scoffs.
"Can't."
"Why not?"
I tense my shoulders. "She's from the city."
"The city?"
"Yes," I groan.
"...So, how did you meet her?" He folds his arms.
"A dating app," I shrug. "I don't see what that has to do with anything."
"And she's definitely who she says she is, right?"
My nostrils flare. "The hell does that mean?"
"Have you seen her face?"
