"I said lower your fucking guns!" Ares said louder
"Boss..." a body guard says to Ares
"I'm not going to ask again" Ares raised his voice.
All guns lower down.
"Neonata give me the gun please" Ares said softly
I hand Ares his gun back, he quickly pulls me into his arms kissing the top of my head.
"If any of you idiots raise your guns at her again I won't hesitate to kill you all myself" Ares threatened them
"You're protecting a enemy" Zeus said
"She's not a fucking enemy she's my girlfriend and possibly my future wife" Ares said
I look up at Ares shocked that he's talking to his dad like that.
Zeus laughs "She's not even Italian but please enlighten me how she'd benefit this family"
"This is how this is going to work" Ares slides in the booth sitting down pulling me ontop of him.
"Kiya will be apart of the family, I'll assign Christian as her bodyguard. He'll be by her side here in Italy and in the states when she goes back for college. If anyone has a problem with my decision please speak up now" Ares places his gun on the table leaning back pulling me against his chest.
Ares stares at his dad but nobody says anything.
"Good we have an understanding" Ares said
"Avevamo un accordo" the man said
"Fuck your agreement" Ares said
"So it's fuck your baby too?" The man said
Ares laughs "What baby? You congratulated the wrong Gonzalez"
"What are you taking about son?" Zeus asks
"Ask Apollo, neonata we're leaving" Ares said
I get off of him, he gets up and grabs my hand.
"Nice talk" Ares says before walking out of the VIP lounge.
Ares stops walking and grabs my face with both hands. "Why didn't you pull the trigger?"
"I don't know" I look down
He gently pulls my head back up "Neonata...why?"
"I care more about you and how it'll impact you if I killed him than getting revenge" I said
He stares at me for a moment then he pulls me into a hug hugging me tightly "Thank you" he whispered
A part of me is disappointed in myself. I had the opportunity to get my revenge but I chose love and happiness over revenge.
I may not kill the killers of my brother and dad but I will be getting my revenge regardless. I just can't get caught.
Later that night I was in Ares's room talking to Diamond on the phone.
"Okay wait you only slept with Xavier and Ares?"
"Yes" I said
"Who was better?"
"Stop Dime" I laugh
"No but for real Ki"
"Ares. Sex is so passionate with Ares and Xavier I feel like it was just sex" I said
