Slim stood by her kitchen counter eating some frozen grapes as she prepared for work.
"Damn, not they got me on mornings." She shook her head.
But she couldn't lie, working mornings were her favorite since she got off earlier in the day. It was only the waking up early part she didn't like.
After she finished her small breakfast, she walked back to her room to put get her scrubs on.
"I hate wearing these shits.." she mumbled as she looked down at the workers clogs on her feet.
Once Slim was dressed, it was time for her to head out.
She gave herself one last look before heading out of her apartment, to the car.

Lately, Tay had been applying more pressure than usual. Part of it now consisted of routine good morning and night texts, leaving Slim confused.. she thought that she had set clear boundaries in the beginning.
She made a note to talk with him again.
Slim soon arrived at work in a good amount of time, as she only lived 15 minutes away.
"Kiamantè, girl I ain seen you in a minute!" One of her coworkers, Kayla smiled.
"Hey Kay.. and I know, I was doing them afternoon shifts for a minute."
"So you permanently working like this?"
Slim shrugged, "For now. But I'll see what times my on campus classes gon be in the fall."
"Mmm, well you been missing out. You remember Nurse Rita?"
Slim nodded as she looked through the appointments for the day.
Nurse Rita was always nice to Slim, she was the only friendly person when Slim first got hired too.
"Why her husband had to get a test for STDs .. and chile the results came back that he was positive for chlamydia. Apparently they both cheated tho, so who knows where it came from." Kayla gossiped.
