Another day in the trenches and another day I wish I die, another day alive because God refuses to oblige.

I groaned while stretching my back as I sat up feeling weak and tired already.

"On your fucking feet!" A voice shouted making all the ladies stand up in fright

I rolled my eyes, I do not know why these men keep screaming when we were obviously going to obey them seeing that we had no choice.

I stood up begrudgingly feeling my stomach tighten with discomfort, I hope my period wasn't in all the way.

"Hey, Cinderella, do you need me to write an IV your way?" One shouted. This man had to be the ugliest person I have ever seen in my existence. He had black full moustache that was a few centimeters away from his black-pink lips... He had narrow eyes that were brown, an ugly brown.

"Oh, you know how to write" I mocked making him grit his teeth in anger and annoyance

"On a straight line, all the way to the back!" Another voice commanded

Everyone stood up to their feet as we all moved in a straight line to the back. We were a lot. Some short, tall, fat, slim, curvy, blonde, black, redbone, white. Name it, these people recruited, scratch that, these people stole and kidnapped girls from all over the globe. I even spotted a few Africans, with their black afro full hair.

When we got outside, we all made about 30 horizontal lines, almost 20 in each line, on my left was Charm and my right, an elderly woman who was shaking due to the cold.  We all stared at the commanding lord as he took in all of us before him

"Today's chore is quite simple!" He started "All you have to do is clear the driveway of all the snow, some will clear it will others will be assigned another task"

"Isn't that job for men? This driveway is freaking huge, how are we gonna clear it?" Charm whispered to me

I rose my hand and I heard some groans in irritation

"What?" He spat when he looked at me

"I was wondering, what will your men be doing while we clear the driveway? Will they perhaps be scrubbing the kitchen or preparing breakfast?"

The woman beside me gasped and clutched my hand tight.

He was clearly pissed and it showed as he approached me in anger, everyone around me scattered as he walked and soon his hands grabbed my throat with such force that had my eyes teary

"That mouth of yours should seriously be used for other purposes, yes?" He asked

I made tiny crescents with my nails on his huge hands as I tried to struggle against his grip

"Now listen and listen very good, the next time you open this cunt to dare insult my men or talk back at me, I will kill you and allow your body rot in disgrace" he said his grip tighter

I wheezed as black dots surrounded my vision

"Are we clear?" He asked

"C...crystal" I rushed out

He threw me to the ground while I coughed my way to being alive.

"To your fuckin assignments!" He shouted at the ladies as he lit a cigar

Charm pulled me up "You really should stop this Liz. Look, you have his hand imprinted on your neck"

That bastard!

We began to clear the driveway, I noticed a particular man circling one of the girls, it was obvious that she was scared, he even pushed his lower half against her while talking into her ear.

"Symphony!" I shouted and she turned to face me and the idiot with her did too "the commanding lord said you should work alongside me"

Every man here feared the commanding lord, I mean who wouldn't? He was huge, tall and fat. He killed without batting an eye and he reeked of alcohol all the time. Dude was a living nightmare.

The man groaned in annoyance before walking away from her, she rushed over to me "Thank you"

"Don't thank me, you should really learn how to say no" I told her

"Sym, don't listen to Liz. These men will kill you if you defer them" Charm said from behind me

"I won't always be here to save her" I said annoyed turning to face Charm

"No one is asking you to Liz, just leave her alone" Charm said pouring the bucket of water against the snow

I turned to Symphony "If you listen to Charm, you will get fucked by every twat in this building"

She shuddered "Okay"

I beckoned her to leave and she did

"You are giving her hope when she clearly doesn't need such lies now" Charm said

I didn't respond, her negative energy was repelling, if she wanted to spend the rest of her life here then she was free to do so but I wasn't.

I packed my red afro hair into a bun as much as would allow and kept working, I was working when I noticed the gates opening

I stood up immediately. These gates were guarded with men that held huge guns at all grounds. Some were at the top of the building and some just in front of the gate.

"Liz, don't do anything stupid" Charm warned as she held my hand

I scoffed, I obviously wasn't going to try to run, again, not when here was crowded and heavily guarded obviously

"I am not stupid" I said

She left my hand but she didn't move, I could still feel her presence behind me

I watched as a few power bikes drove in, they were all in a straight line ..then a rolls followed and two other SUVs.

"What's going on?" She asked from behind me

How am I to know?

I shrugged "Probably a visitor..."

"Or a buyer" she muttered

I was about to look away when the door of the Rolls opened and a man stepped out. He was in a suit, an all black suit. It was so fucking obvious that he was rich.

He had on shades and his phone was in one of his hands that had a diamond looking watch.

He looked around the whole place nodding his head in approval, he probably liked the way the whole environment was littered with trafficked girls. Ah, a sight for sore eyes indeed, our eyes locked and I didn't dare look away.

He took off his glasses and looked at me. I glared back, I didn't like him one bit, the fact that reputable and rich men joined forces for things like this made me hate them and he obviously was one of them.

His lips moved up in amusement as he looked at me, before he walked away with his men behind him

"Wow" Charm breathed from behind me

I rolled my eyes, what's so fascinating?
