Everyone got on the plane, and entered the Museum. Larry and Y/n looked around the nightmare office, Larry taking the tapped instructions out if his locker.

"I think this'll have more value to you than me." Larry handed the instructions to Y/n. Y/n looked at them, before back up at Larry. "It's okay. Really. You can keep them." Larry tried to muster up enough of a smile. Y/n then Gabe Larry a tight hug, before hearing small screaming sounds. Y/n let go, and looked into their pocket.

"I'm so sorry, guys! I forgot you were in there." Y/n apologized, as Jedediah and Octavius recomposed themselves. "Let's get you two back to your dioramas." Larry said, guiding everyone there.

Once everyone was there, Y/nset Octavius down first, before whispering to Jed quietly, "I know you've been avoiding it, but this really is your last chance. You gotta give it your all, because it's now or never." They whispered, before setting Jed down, and sitting across from Larry on the bench.

"...It sure is quiet around here." Jed spoke up. "Without the tablet, it's just like any other museum." Octavius added.

"...You know what I'm gonna remember most about you?" Larry asked. "What?" Jed asked.

"How big you guys are." Jed and Octavius' expressions softened. Larry looked up at Y/n. "Go ahead. Say it one last time." He nodded.

"The thing I'm gonna remember most about you guys is how much of a flaming homosexual you guys are." Y/n managed to let out a chuckle. Jed started chuckling some, and Octavius' face grew embarrassed, but not to an extremely uncomfortable extent. The two turned to Y/n.

"C'mere." Jed opened his arms. Y/n laughed even more, and Larry started to laugh, himself. "C'mere." Jed repeated, "Hold me." Y/n, not knowing how to because of how small he is, just put her finger out towards him for a finger hug, which Jedediah took.

Larry checked the time. "We gotta go if we want enough time to say goodbye to everyone." He spoke up. Larry said his last goodbyes to the two. "I'll catch up with you, don't worry." Y/n said as Larry left the hall.

"Seriously, though, I'm gonna miss you guys. And back all those years ago, when you survived that RC car crash and I picked you up, I meant what I said. You guys are my favorite. You're my homies. And even if you guys are done with this afterlife, I can still live knowing you guys were my friends." Y/n said to the two, their eyes starting to water. Jed and Octavius smiled at Y/n and gave them one last goodbye hug. "Thanks, Gigantor." Jed sighed. "Yes. Thank you, Y/n. You've been a great friend to both of us." Octavius agreed. Y/n looked at the two of them one last time. "I'll see ya round, guys." They mustered up a smile. "We'll see ya round, Y/n." Jed responded as they got up from the bench. As Y/n was leaving, they heard Jed start speaking to Octavius, but only heard the beginning: "Look, Ockie... there's somethin' I gotta get off'a my chest."

Y/n walked over to Atilla's exhibit, saying their last goodbyes.

"My... Friend..." Atilla said as Y/n was about to leave. Y/n stopped and turned to him. "Since when have you been speaking English?" they laugh a little as Atilla winks. Y/n leaves and walks around the museum, looking for Larry, before hearing his voice from the Egyptian wing. Y/n stopped in their tracks as they see they're having a moment.

"It's okay. Go ahead. One last slap." Larry said, expecting a slap. Instead, Dexter's raised arm lightly touched Larry's cheek, and Dexter kissed him. Y/n looked at the two awkwardly. "twice in one night." Y/n thought.

"...Yeah, I felt that was there a long time, too." Larry said, not having the heart to reject Dexter on his last night. The two kissed one more time, before Y/n walked up to them. "I told you I'd catch up with you." Y/n said to Larry, before petting Dexter.

Not long after, the two go back to the lobby  of the museum. Sacagawea and Teddy had their last moments, before Teddy walked over to Larry and Y/n, Sacagawea crossing her arms and mouthing "thank you".

"Who would have ever thought? I'm wax, she's polyurethane. But somehow, it worked." Teddy chuckled as the three started walking to his horse. Larry sighed, followed by Y/n sighing as well.

"I guess this is it." Larry said.

"Indeed." Teddy said, "...I know young Nick will do great things. And you, Y/n," he turned to them, "Follow your heart. You're doing a great job at it." Y/n started to tear up again, but managed to smile for him.

"Yeah, he's uh..." Larry paused, starting to tear up, himself. "Ready to take in the world all by himself."

"Then you've done your job."

Larry paused.

"You've done your job."

"...I don't know what I'm gonna do tomorrow."

"How exciting."

Teddy got on his horse.

"Bye, Teddy." Larry said. "Yeah, see ya, Teddy. Thanks for the laughs and the advice and stuff." Y/n smiled.

"Farewell, Y/n. Farewell, Lawrence." Teddy said, before getting his sword out and 'freezing'. Larry and Y/n looked at him for a few seconds.

"BULLY!"

"AHH!"

Teddy laughed. "Got ya!" he smiled, before looking out the museum windows.

"Smile, my boy, ...It's sunrise."

And with that, Teddy froze as the sun came up. Y/n wiped away a few tears.

"Let's go." Larry said, wrapping an arm around Y/n's shoulder for comfort.

They walked out and saw Nicky. the three said their goodbyes, before Nicky walked away and to Erica and Don's place.

"So, did you just quit?" Y/n asked Larry as Nicky started to walk away.

"Uhh, yeah, I did. I'm gonna explain to the chairwoman that it was my fault the Night Program failed, not McPhee's." Larry explained. Y/n nodded their head.

"I'm gonna try to apply for a job there." Y/n said.

"What?" Larry asked, before pausing, "But... you'd have to quit being the CEO of Daley Devices."

"So, I'll quit being the CEO."

"Y/n, that's kind of ridiculous. You've been making a lot of money on the company. When I was first working here, I had 11.50 an hour."

"SOMEBODY'S gotta do the job, and I don't trust just any stranger to be the night guard."

"Y/n-"

"I'm an adult now. I can make this decision myself. And I don't care if I end up finding myself to be irrational and regretting it. Teddy told me to follow my heart. I'm going to apply." Y/n made it clear that this was their final choice. Larry paused, before sighing,

"Okay. I won't try to stop you anymore, then. If that's your final choice." He said, "Let's go home." And with that, the two started to walk back to their apartment building

(A/N: I know y/n's choice was irrational. It was supposed to be. Just saying that so it's not something i get slandered for 😭)
