One of the most wonderful sensations in the world was realizing that a person's presence and absence held significance for someone else. Jisoo's eyes widened in astonishment when she spotted his car parked at the edge of the neighborhood street. It was the very spot where they had both paused the other day, lost in contemplation of the breathtaking scenery. From there, the entire city and all its splendor lay before them. Jisoo cast another glance, confirming that it was indeed him. Gathering her courage, she crossed the empty street to approach him.
Cautiously, she made her way to the car and leaned in to peer through the slightly tinted passenger window. The limited visibility made it challenging, but with focused observation, she soon identified him. He seemed oblivious to her presence, eyes closed as if in slumber. However, the subtle movements of his hands on his face indicated that he was not actually asleep.
For approximately three minutes, she observed him, her eyebrows gradually arching at the visible strain on his face. Standing there, unmoving and wide-eyed, she struggled to grasp the situation unfolding before her. A sudden surge of worry for his welfare gripped her heart; she had never witnessed him in such a state before. With a furrowed brow betraying her concern, she hesitated briefly before tentatively bringing her hand close to the window, tapping on it gently.

Startled, Haein instinctively pulled his arms close to his chest, his gaze quickly landing on the individual who had been occupying his thoughts. His mouth closed as his eyes met her gentle smile. Without hesitation, he reached for the electric switch on the side door panel, unlocking the door on the opposite side. A slight smile played on Jisoo's lips as she recognized that he had unlocked the door.
"Hey... this is unexpected! I... I couldn't believe it was your car at first!" Jisoo exclaimed after swinging open the car door. Haein returned her smile, tilting his head slightly.
"I... just had to return here! This spot brings me a sense of peace for some reason," he murmured wearily. Jisoo's brow furrowed as she noted his evident fatigue.
"Are you okay? Do you want to talk?" Jisoo inquired, hoping he would open up about what was weighing on him. Haein offered another smile as he shook his head in response.
"No... I mean... you must be tired... I don't want you to waste your time here with me when you could be resting!" he expressed, running his hand wearily through his hair. Jisoo pursed her lips in mild frustration and promptly settled into the passenger seat of his car.
"I insist!" she asserted, firmly shutting the door. Haein chuckled at her determination, his gaze fixed on her face.
"Do you truly want to listen to my sad and lonely life struggles? I might bore you to death!" he quipped, a smile playing on his lips. Jisoo crossed her arms and shot him a pointed look.
"Well... I might just surprise you in that department... because I don't get bored easily!" Jisoo retorted with a mischievous grin. Haein's cheeks lifted in a swift, delighted response; he could hardly contain his happiness upon hearing her words.
