After a week had gone by, the sense of normalcy had returned. Jennie and Jisoo were closer than ever, the bakery was bustling with success, JongSuk was visibly thriving from his therapy, and Jisoo's father had softened his disapproval of her lifestyle. Life was definitely smoother now, especially since she no longer had to interact with Mr. Jung. It was almost as if he had vanished from her life entirely. And their kiss? Well, it was like a distant memory now, exactly how she had hoped it would be.
As night fell, the weight of his words lingered heavily on her mind from that fateful day. He had come to the bakery seeking answers after she had avoided him the previous night. She couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for him; he seemed like a genuinely good man. Despite the fleeting emotions stirred by their kiss, she knew she would never allow it to go any further. She was committed to finding her husband, no matter the obstacles in her path.
Although she tried to push the thought away, deep down she knew that Siwon was out there somewhere. The mysterious letter was merely a diversion from the truth of what transpired on the day he vanished. As she carried on with her routine at the bakery, everything seemed normal, but behind the scenes, Haein was preoccupied with meetings and appointments concerning the K Group. With his brother's recent departure to the UK, he had taken on a heavy load of responsibilities, adding to the complexity of their already tumultuous situation.
As he was about to hang up the call on his phone, the door to his office swung open, revealing none other than Sunah. Haein quickly ended the call and rose from his chair, a stern expression on his face.
"What are you doing in here?" he inquired, his tone firm. Despite his question, Sunah simply smiled broadly and proceeded to walk further into his office.
"Why are you so tense? Relax... I just wanted to talk to you!" Sunah reassured him as she made her way towards the couch situated on the left side of his office. With a graceful motion, she sat down and crossed her legs, a relaxed smile playing on her lips.

Haein closed his eyes momentarily, trying to shake off her presence, before meeting her taunting gaze head-on. "If it's not work-related, then I have no interest in talking to you. So, is this about the K-Group?" he questioned, his gaze unwavering. Sunah couldn't help but chuckle at his response, giving him a knowing look.
"You should be thankful that I'm here to offer my assistance," she retorted, to which he scoffed in response, clearly unimpressed.
"Don't make me laugh... Help me? In what way, exactly? I've managed just fine on my own, so I don't require your assistance, dear sister-in-law," he muttered, swiftly grabbing his phone and heading towards the door to exit his office.
"Don't forget, Shin Hye is a close friend of mine!" Sunah interjected hastily before he could leave. Haein paused in his tracks, a flicker of realization crossing his features. Slowly, he turned his head towards where she sat in the room.
