I was trying to conceal a part of myself that I was ashamed of, hiding behind a facade because I felt like I was never good enough for anyone - not my father, not my mother, and at times, not even for you. Lost in my own mind, I began to engage in destructive behaviors, turning to drinking, drugs, and illegal racing for validation and recognition, even though deep down, I knew I didn't need any of that," Haein confessed, his voice filled with pain and regret. Even after 21 years, revisiting that painful memory was just as agonizing as it was on the day of their fight.

"To this day, I still don't know how you found me that night, but you caught me red-handed. Your fury and disappointment pierced through me, leaving me feeling bruised and exposed. You confronted me about all the things I had been hiding from you, and in my upset and embarrassment, I lashed out at you.
