Umar sat in his office waiting for his request to be approved, apparently the professor had to hold a meeting on his behalf but unfortunately a disagreement between the doctors broke out. Some of them supported doctor Umar believing if it was a success then that would uplift the status of the hospital while the rest of the doctors said it was a risky idea that could cost the live of the patient and bad reputation of the hospital.
"Doctor" the elderly man said coming into doctor Umar's office getting his attention.
"Yes professor Ahmad" he responded
"I've gone through your request and after much convincing, I've decided that you can go ahead with the treatment" he said making a smile appear on doctor Umar face
"Really?" He said over joyed
"Yes, but put in mind that whatever the results comes out to be good or bad, you'll be responsible for it" Professor Ahmad said
"Yes, yes, I accept, I'll take full responsibility" doctor Umar replied smiling widely
"I can see your over joyed, the consent of the family is very important, if they accept you can go ahead with it but if they refuse then I'm sorry but you need to accept their decision and transfer the patient to a different hospital cause we won't be able to treat her here" Professor Ahmad said
"okay professor thank you, I'll convince the family" doctor Umar responded
"Alright then, be careful" the professor said before leaving the office making doctor Umar sigh in relief.
A big smile carved up his face, now he had another opportunity to make Arman life a living nightmare.
"Get the approval of the family huh?" He said smiling as he dialed the contact of the man who's consent he would be needing, after 3 rings the called was declined.
"Huh" he scoffed as he left out a slight smile.
"The audacity" he cursed before sending a text message instead.
"Not calling cause I enjoy speaking to you, pick up the phone or get ready to welcome the police to your home"
He texted before sending it, 2 mins later the call came in instead. Looking at the ringing phone in his hands Doctor Umar smiled before picking up the call.
"Assalamualaikum criminal number 7758" doctor Umar said before busting into laughter
"Keep your Salam to yourself go straight to the point" Arman said annoyed
"Hmm, what a good Muslim you are" Doctor Umar said laughing again
"Look, I don't enjoy talking to you so get straight to the point otherwise..." Arman said as Doctor Umar cuts him off
