dynamight and h/n were the most loved ship in the entire hero community. you two attended ua together, though he was two years older and now he was the number 3 hero, with you above him at number 2.
Fans ADORED you two and videos of interviews together, battles, hero galas, once paparazzi found you guys having a little 'date' in a coffee shop. that went viral. But you guys weren't a couple, despite the rumours that you were.
it was painfully obvious you two had interest in each other, but your hero careers distracted you from it. that didn't stop your thirsty fans and shippers making edits and videos though.

"dynamight! your opinions on h/n? what's your relationship with her?" an eager female interviewer pressured bakugou outside his gym where paparazzi were surrounding.
"she's my friend, okay? now leave, I have things to do." bakugou scoffed, shoving through the crowd to his car.

"h/n, are the rumours about you and dynamight dating true? spill it!" a different interviewer shouted a couple days later.
"no, sorry to break it to you guys but we're not dating." you clarified, right after shutting down a robbery you were swarmed with a news team, a microphone shoved in your face.
"do you like him? tell us! the fans are waiting!"
"no, I don't. he's my colleague, that's all." you said.
and that was the end of the video. the video bakugou was watching as he lay in his bed, scrolling through a post labelled 'dynamight and h/n confirm they are only FRIENDS! but fans suspect something more!'
he scoffed. do people have nothing better to do that fan over two heroes' love lives?
not that bakugou didn't like you, because he did. if it wasn't for you both being so famous he'd ask you on a date right here right now. and as if he'd tell the shitty public about his personal feelings.
often, he'd find himself scrolling through edits of the two of you. one he couldn't stop watching was of you both in an interview looking at google searches (Yk those vids) and it slowed along with a song when you two looked at each other.
bakugou knew it. the way he saw how he looked at you the entire video, it was so obvious he was dying to be with you. no wonder the fans 'suspected' something. he looked like a hungry puppy when with you.

Bakugou beamed at his phone, not that he cared what other people thought but he loved how people adored your guys' relationship, it made him feel secure.
"hey baby?" he called in his sleepy husky voice.
