Sorry for not updating in a while. School is tiring and I lent my charger to a friend for the weekend, then my battery died while I was writing :P

Countryhumans POV

When the boys woke up, they walked out their rooms to see a feast on the kitchen island (in the last chapter I mentioned it, I have no idea how to explain to you what  it is) which they helped themselves to. After eating, they noticed it was still dark outside, and each were confused on how they were so awake during the night. The Guardian came out wearing their usual long robe and tilted their head to the side, presumably asking what they were doing.

"Why are we so awake during the night and-" TR started.

"How come there's so much incredible food?" FI jumped in, apparently loving the food a considerate amount more than USSR and TR.

The Guardian approached the group and bowed, then wrote something with the notebook and pen, which appeared and disappeared mysteriously, then ripped off the page and gave it to USSR.

"Because Wuwatha is in a different time zone than your world. FI, thank you for saying the food is incredible. I'll be sure to let the cooks know to prepare these meals for you again." USSR read slowly, not being the best at reading cursive English.

While FI was exploding with 'Joy For The Food', TR asked a question.

"How is Wuwatha different from Earth?" He said.

The Guardian, using another head motion, beckoned the countries to follow them. As they walked through the halls, TR noted how the servants and the Queen wore more olden styled clothes, yet their technology was far supreme to Earth's. FI wondered where the kitchen was, and where the cooks learnt to make such exquisite lasagna. USSR's thoughts wandered to the Guardian. Who was he, if 'he' even was a he. Why is 'he' so secretive, he pondered. Why, why, why? (I will use he/him pronouns for the Guardian from now on, because TR, FI, USSR, and JE suspect the guardian to be male. Whether the Guardian is male or not is still unknown... btw sometimes I might use they/them out of habit)

The Guardian led the countries into a dark room, and when he waved his arm in the air, the sleeve of his cloak billowing around so the countries didn't see any shape of an arm, lights snapped on and revealed a beautiful library holding lots of books, possibly thousands of books. Many comfortable looking seating areas full of pillows and blankets looked very alluring to the flagged beings (Lol, what the heck. fLaGgEd BeInGs, new way of 'naming' Countryhumans...), but the Guardian walked slowly past them. The three had to keep slowing down and waiting for the Guardian to catch up to them as they walked to quickly, possible side effects of coming from a war zone, everything is rush, get done, do other stuff, be quick, dodge. Unbeknownst to the countries, while the Guardian doesn't seem to show signs of trauma from any sort of war or battle, the fears are still there.

The group finally reached the far end of the walk across the library, and the countryhumans were exhausted. The Guardian seemed fine though, probably 'cause he didn't rush and stop, rush and stop, etc., etc., like the countries did. The Guardian then faced a wall at the end of an aisle and waved his arm in the air and the wall moved, revealing a hidden passageway (that smelled musty btw), and walked into the darkness, the other boys quickly followed him.

"What is it with you and these secret passageways?" FI asked, trying not to get creeped out by the fact all he could see was pitch black darkness. He squealed when the wall slid shut behind them. USSR's snickers and TR's disappointed sighs made FI glad for the darkness, so no one could see the red creeping across his face.

All of the sudden, the countries heard voices. They were whispering something, but they couldn't tell what. The voices reached out, trying to grab them. Dragging them into a bottomless pit. The countries yelped in surprise, FI screaming, not like a girl, but still screaming. TR felt like he was being stretched like a rubber band, and TR felt like he was gonna throw up. USSR was spinning around and around in the air, kind of like whenever he would spin his kids in the air, and how Georgia had once vomited all over him because he didn't put her down in time. Except, USSR was spinning much faster, and he might be upside down too, which he was.

FI, however, all though he was screaming, he wasn't going through weird bodily motions like the other two. He was just falling, and screaming. He looked around, but there was just darkness and a cold rushing wind. FI tried to maneuver himself to try and find something to grab onto, but their was nothing there.

"ပီဇာလူသတ်သမား should be asleep, in his nightmares, not conscious. I don't think the other မိုက်မဲသော လူသတ်သမားများ  are awake. The next time we commit to this journey, I must be careful that all will fall asleep. The ပီဇာလူသတ်သမား is not subconscious somehow. Stupid တိုင်းသူပြည်သား, always causing troubles." The Guardian thought as he frowned, watching the countryhumans fall, while he floated down peacefully, at the same speed as the others, but he was used to it by now.

Usually, only Guardians are allowed access to this route, and when others are able to enter, they should fall asleep and have nightmares of them doing something unnaturally physically, or just confronting their worst fears. Only Guardians can stay awake, and not free fall, but float, using their powers. Even though FI was awake, obviously he hasn't been granted those abilities, so he's free falling like deer in a shooting ground (I'm sorry, I had to!!!).

Then, the countries paused in midair, and FI saw something he shouldn't have. Something no one had seen for over 5 years. Although it may seem lame, it is a big turning point in this story, because we all know how particular the Guardian is in keeping their personal details a confidential secret. FI saw the shape of the Guardians arm. It was thin, thinner than he expected. And the Guardian's hand.

Sorry for not updating in over a week! I need to eat dinner now, but I should be able to update tomorrow arvo. If you don't know what arvo means, that's probably because you're not an Aussie. BTW I use google translator for all non-English text. So sorry if its incorrect!
