Chapter 11 - Tearful Reunion

In this chapter Ash and Serena return to Pallet Town. While it is Serena's first ever visit to the town, it doesn't start great with her getting an injury on the way.

Ash will also encounter professor Oak and some other friends of his and things will get teary as it happens.

-IMPORTANT NOTE-

With the 27th of October coming up later this week, I won't release a special chapter for that. Simple answer is that there is simply not enough time to do so and I have given you a special on the 20th already.

For people who don't know, on the 27th is the moment we celebrate Ash and Serena's first and only kiss that has been made canon by the pokemon company. So here's an early happy anniversary and make sure you celebrate that one important day to all of us Amourshipper!

Narrator: Last times, a lot of things happened between Ash and Serena.

*SLAP*

"Don't you dare to do anything like this ever again." Serena said in a low but stern voice after slapping him across his cheek, leaving a red mark on it. Ash placed his hand on it to restrain the pain but it wasn't what he was focused on now. He looked at Serena with a stunned expression.

"We need to talk."

They had a talk and when the ship docked, they were met by not only team Rocket, but also a rain storm. They had to find a place to take shelter.

"Serena..." Ash said, looking at her deeply. "I'm so... so sorry for abandoning you like that." Ash fully regretted his actions.

Ash apologised for his behavior with Serena listening closely to every word leaving his mouth.

"Thanks for sticking with me so long Serena." Ash spoke during the hug. "I don't know where I'd be without your help."

After everything, Serena forgave him. Then, when things finally seemed to get better, the weather cleared up and walked out of their hiding place.

You recognize this place, don't you?" Ash suddenly spoke up, leaning onto the fence of the porch while staring infront of him.

Ash had led them to the place where they held the summercamp all those years ago. But then, as they continued their travels towards Pallet Town, Serena tripped over a large root!

"Serena!" Ash shouted, looking at her with worry. He quickly kneeled down to help her. "Are you alright?"

Serena looked up at him. Her eyes were teary as she spoke. "M-my knee hurts a lot..." She croaked. "And my ankle..."

A mirage image appeared of their younger selves when Ash pulled her up, crossing through the current moment. Ash pulled a little too hard and they got into a hugging position. Serena blushed and so did Ash as the two hugged. No words were spoken as it happened.
