"Care for another dance, little witch?" Ominis whispered into my ear as he sat down beside me. His hand on my shoulder sent a pleasant shiver down my spine, and I couldn't help but blush at his closeness. "I believe the next one we practiced once with Poppy and Garreth."

I was having a blast with Ominis and the rest of our group. The evening had turned out to be more magical than I had ever imagined, and my anxiety was now almost completely gone.

"Oh, the complicated one?" I frowned a bit, recalling our previous attempts at switching partners during practice, which had resulted in a few clumsy moments. At one point, we both fell and I landed on top of him. He joked that I needed to stop falling for him.

I smiled to myself at the memory.

Ominis laughed, his voice like music to my ears. "Yes, but I promise you'll be fine. You've just about perfected it now," he reassured me with a playful glint in his eyes. His confidence in my dancing abilities made my heart flutter, and I felt a surge of excitement at the prospect of dancing with him again.

"I guess but someone should put a warning sign on me. I'm so clumsy on these legs," I chuckled nervously, feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety as Ominis's hands found mine again. We continued talking as we waited for the next dance to commence, and his touch brought a sense of comfort that eased my nerves.

Once the song finished, everyone found their places for the lineup, and to my surprise, Sebastian and Imelda ended up next to us. My heart skipped a beat, realizing that Sebastian would be paired with me during the switch. Lately, I had been feeling more nervous around him, and his intense staring only added to the tension between us.

I noticed Imelda giving me a dirty look when she followed Sebastian's gaze and tried to switch spots but he wouldn't budge from his position next to us.

As the dance began, I desperately wanted to cling to Ominis, but we had to start the intricate movements. Facing each other, Ominis and I extended our arms towards the outer hands and rotated in a circle.

I could feel the warmth of his hands as we moved gracefully together.

With the music guiding us, we gracefully rotated back, our right arms lifted in a perfect 90-degree angle again, our fingertips barely grazing, igniting a spark of electrifying connection. We stepped back into our original position, our hands never parting, as if drawn together by an invisible force, a magnetic pull that kept us entwined.

Ominis pulled me closer, his touch sending a rush of warmth through me, as he effortlessly twirled me to the opposite side. Side to side we glided, our movements fluid and synchronized, our bodies moving in harmony with the music. His hand on my waist, pulling me close, made my heart race with anticipation.

The dance continued with a graceful transition as the partnered pairs turned to the side, elegantly walking forward. The outer partner smoothly glided to the side, guiding us all the way back to the start of the line. The dance floor seemed to come alive with a harmonious rhythm as we gracefully moved in perfect synchrony.

Returning to our starting position, we skipped to the side, eagerly anticipating our new partners. As we approached each other, there was a sense of playful excitement in the air. We bowed with a flourish before our new companions, extending our hands to them in a gesture of invitation.

As I raised my head, my heart skipped a beat when I locked eyes with Sebastian. In that fleeting moment, I saw a mischievous glint in his eyes, and I couldn't help but wonder what he had in mind. His gaze held mine for a lingering moment, and there was an unspoken connection that seemed to ignite between us.
