"HAVE YOU EVER heard of quirk marriages?" Todoroki asked.
"Quirk marriages..?" She mumbled under her breath. 'why would he be talking about that..? Unless—' Y/n froze.
Bakugou noticed how she froze at the mention of quirk marriages. 'The hell is quirk marriages?' He thought.
"They started becoming a problem after the second or third generation after the quirks appeared. Strong individuals would pick a certain partner and force them into a marriage for the sole purpose of passing on a strengthned version of their own quirk. With his wealth and fame my father made my mother's family agree to the marriage. All to get his hands on her quirk, raising me as a hero who could exceed all might just to fulfill his own ambitions."
Bakugou's eyes widened.
Y/n looked over at the ash-blonde. 'I don't think we should even be listening to this..'
Y/n took Bakugou's hand off of her mouth. "We should leave. I don't think we should listen to this.." she whispered.
He looked down at their hands, hers was a lot colder than his.

Bakugou looked at her as she was staring into his eyes while holding his hand. his heart suddenly started racing, was it because they were eavesdropping to a conversation they shouldn't hear? Or was it something else— No, there's nothing else.
He covers her mouth with his hand and pins her to the wall with the other, once again. their bodies were pressed against each other, it seemed.. weird to him.
'Honestly, this idiot really likes to listen to things he shouldn't be listening.. I bet he followed them here.'
He continued to listen to their conversation, "as I remember it, my mom was always crying. "I can't stand your left side." She said that before she threw boiling water on my face." Todoroki says, the three widened their eyes.
"In short, never using my left side was my revenge on him. I'll never use that rotten quirk of his, No.. by rising to the top without ever using it." Todoroki stated.
'Todoroki-kun..' Y/n frowned, 'but honestly that's.... it's his quirk. So why should he limit his own abilities because of his father..?'
Bakugou was stunned, he didn't know what to think in this moment. He didn't know that Todoroki had endured a lot in the past.
Y/n took Bakugou's hand and dragged him out of there, leading him back to the cafeteria entrance.
"We shouldn't have stayed, it wasn't our business to listen!" Y/n scolded, Bakugou payed no mind to what she was saying, he was silent.
