Endou Mamoru POV:

After all I did as she said

I arrived at the hospital but lost Goenji after he took the elevator...

I look up and see a sign on the door, Goenji Yuuka?

At that moment, the door opened, revealing Goenji and Suzuki. Goenji's eyes widen, Suzuki just looked at me, knowing my intentions

"You..."

Goenji didn't finish, stunned by seeing me

"Um.. I.."

"Why are you here?"

"I saw you coming here... And I thought maybe you were sick or injured so you couldn't play anymore like Suzuki-san..."

Suzuki Sumire POV:
I look at him as he anxiously plays with his fingers

"Shuuya"

I say, looking at Goenji . After a pause nods his head reluctantly

"I'm sorry."

Endou bowed in front of us

So he can say sorry?

I shake my head, dismissing that thought

"About the patient..."

"It's his sister"

I say, looking at Goenji, who opened the door for us to get inside again, but this time with Endou

"Honestly, you amaze me sometimes"

Goenji said before closing the door

I sit down near the bed, leaving my cane setting it down near nightstand

"Her name is Yuuka, She's been in a coma for a long time."

Endou eyes widen

"I will tell you mine and Sumire's story, you won't leave otherwise, will you?"

Endou just shift his eyes from me to Yuuka

"She's been like this ever since the final match of last year Football Frontier."

"It was the match between Kidokawa Seishuu and Teikoku, right?"

Endou asked, gazing at me

"Yeah."

I whisper

"I asked Sumire to get Yuuka before the match since I was at the stadium already."

Shuuya looked at me

"Sumire and Yuuka, who were in the same car, got into a car accident..."

He paused, so I continued

"I was running late. So, while taking Yuuka, I was making a few calls since I was captain of the team..."

Endou eyes darted from Yuuka to me at the mention of 'Captain', Goenji continued

"I heard about the accident just before the match started, I was confused why Sumire was not here, so I checked my phone that was on silent..."

"That's why you two.."

"I rushed to the hospital...immediately. From doctors, I heard Sumire is in worse condition than Yuuka. She lost too much blood, and her ankle was crushed by the car..."

Endou looked at me. I feel his gaze but I can't look up from the ground

"...Sumire had to be transported to the operation room immediately, but there wasn't any doctor specialised to do that kind of work... Doctors made risky decision and travelled with unconscious Sumire to USA for operation."
