Suzuki Sumire's life, far from the idyllic image painted by those around her, is a complex tapestry of unattainable perfection and unrelenting pressure.

Her relentless pursuit of excellence, not solely through academic achievements but also through embodying an impeccable role model persona, is a testament to her unwavering determination to prove her worth to her mother.

Despite her best efforts to showcase an image of flawlessness in every aspect of her life, Sumire remains oblivious to the harsh reality that her mother's approval may forever remain out of reach.

The precarious balance she maintains between striving for unattainable perfection and the risk of crashing down from the heights she has soared to is a delicate dance she performs daily.

Sumire's propensity to shoulder the weight of the world on her shoulders, while admirable, may ultimately lead to her downfall if she continues down this treacherous path.

As observers of her struggle, we can only hope that she finds solace and respite before the burden she carries becomes too heavy to bear, threatening to consume her entirely.

But can we really blame her?

We all seek to achieve perfection.

3rd person POV:

The anticipation leading up to the Kidokawa Seishuu match was filled with a sense of unease. It wasn't just Gouenji who seemed different, but Sumire as well. While she had always been prone to getting lost in her own thoughts, this was the first time since joining Raimon that she wore a frown on her face.

The majority of individuals were hesitant to approach Gouenji to inquire about the situation, but surprisingly, even Kidou joined the girls and Ichinose in their efforts to uplift Sumire's mood.

Despite it being her birthday, she didn't seem particularly thrilled. Time passing by doesn't seem to affect her, as she observed how adults always try to appear younger by deceiving others about their age.

On the morning of her birthday, as the sun's golden rays gently caressed her face, she awoke on the auspicious day of her birth, ready to embark on another day of knowledge and growth.

With delicate strokes, she meticulously brushed her lustrous locks, then erasing any remnants of the world's impurities that had dared to taint her cane during her evening stroll, the day before.

With grace, she gathered her hair, securing it in a regal manner with a ribbon of emerald green, a symbol of her vibrant spirit and unwavering determination.

Descending the grand staircase of her opulent abode, she was greeted by the devoted staff, their benevolent smiles radiating warmth and affection as they showered her with heartfelt birthday wishes.

It required every ounce of her inner strength to reciprocate their kindness, for her heart was heavy with the knowledge that solitude would once again be her companion at the dining table.

However, as she approached the table, her eyes widened in astonishment, for an unexpected surprise awaited her, shattering the solitude she had grown accustomed to.

The dining room was adorned with opulent decor, from the crystal chandelier hanging above to the plush velvet chairs surrounding the grand mahogany table. Her father, a distinguished gentleman in a tailored suit ready for his job, sat at one end of the table, while her mother, a vision of the lab coat, sat at the other end.

In the center of the table, a delicate little box sat innocently near her mother's fine china plate, where she always took her place during family meals. The box gleamed under the soft glow of the candlelight, its intricate design hinting at the precious treasure it held within.
