Sumire POV:

Seeing everyone so happy is truly an amazing sight. Everyone on the Raimon bench stood up and made their way to the players, some even almost running them over.

Shuuya clenched the little pendant he had always been wearing since me and Yuuka chose it for him.

"Good job, Shuuya, but seeing you smile is really unusual."

His smile deepened at my remark, and we hugged, fastly pulling away as a photographer came in view, Endou came running with the trophy, so we positioned ourselves with the rest of the team.

Several white flashes went off, picturing that moment not just in our memories but also in history books.

The crowd started to disperse, so I took advantage of it, and together with Endou, stayed with Kidou to talk

Few piecies of confetti were scattered around the field, so walking around them took me some time and effort, but when we faced Kidou, I forgot about everything and focused on the talk

"Is your leg feeling any better?"

Breaking the silence between us three, I waited for his answer, Kidou moved his leg a little to check

"It's no big deal"

I nod my head slightly

"Good to hear that."

I commented, turning to Endou as he answers

"I see that's great."

Brunette smiled

"The next time will be Nationals, eh?" Kidou trailed off, making me look at him

"Yeah. We'll work hard in your stead."

I snap my eyes at Brunette while shaking my head

"It's not like that, Endou"

"Don't tell me you didn't know."

Kidou mirrors my confusion before he continue

"Teikoku Academy will be playing in the Nationals too"

"That's right, the Champion of the previous year automatically gets to enter, after all"

"Suzuki is right"

He commented while nodding his head in approval.

"Ehh?!"

Kidou tilts his head up

"Being undefeated was Teikoku's and my duty, but we have a new goal now."

"Goal?"/ "New goal?"

I exchange glances with Endou

"We'll get out revenge against Raimon Junior High in the Nationals."

Endou smiles with determination

"I see, we'll get to fight Teikoku Gakuen again!"

Brunette held out a hand for Kidou, who accepted it gladly

Me and Endou turned around to leave, but again, a hand grasped my wrist, stopping me from walking. Deja vu feeling.

"Endou, you go first. Tell everyone I will be there soon.

"Ah, you got it, Suzuki-san. "

Captain answered fastly before running out the field, Kidou released my hand soon after

"Something on your mind?"

I cut the tension that grew the moment Endou walked away

"Are you alright?"
