Evening/Sumire POV:
The day went in a blur, I can't really pinpoint any more important events than Hibiki-san becoming our coach and the talk with Kidou near Riverbank.

Once night fall, Raimon parted ways.

Shuuya walked me home, leaving me near the gate with a quick hug before disappearing into the next street

As soon as I opened the door of my parents mansion, and my home (Yeah, I am that rich kid. Thanks to my parent's positions, of course), someone pulled me into a hug

It took me a second to process it, looking at the slightly crouching person with the same hair colour as me.

"I'm home, Father"

"I don't know if I am angry for what was supposed to happen or proud that I have a smart and sharp daughter who stopped it flawlessly."

He said, leaning back, keeping his hands on my shoulders

"Both?"

I say while smiling faintly, he mirrored my smile

"But looking at the circumstances..."

He started as we walked side by side deeper into the living area, his faced became serious all of the sudden.

"...maybe you should stay home during tomorrow's match?"

He suggested, concerned for me, sitting on the white sofa, I followed his lead, but furrowed my eyebrows

"I can not."

He looks at me dumbfounded

"Sumire, dear. Your health is the most important thing to me."

I look at my lap, feeling guilty since I kept many secrets from him. Moreover I understand how he feels, his only daughter had an accident that almost took her live but still wants to play soccer. And now I can't even reveal that I plan on making Kageyama Reiji pay for what he has done to me and my team... Well, previous team.

Silence fell.

I take a second before looking up

"I can't leave my team like this..."

He was about to comment on that, but I beat him to it

"I can't leave them, like I left my previous team.."

I say, looking down ashamed, gripping the skirt of my outfit, despite a year gap I still feel guilty.

"Sumire, dear, it wasn't your fault. Please don't beat yourself over it."

I look up and stare at him with a painful expression

"But it still feels like it's my fault... Like I didn't do enough for the team to win... let alone put a fight with Teikoku Academy..."

His eyes closed for a second, and he sighed before looking at me

"Alright, you may go..."

I wanted to thank him, but he cut me off

"But I will talk to your coach about it, and Detective Onigawara-san will come to the stadium too"

I tilt my head, a little confused at the conditions. Why Mister Detective?

"Alright then"

I say, nodding my head slightly, agreeing on that condition

After I gave him all the recorded evidence as well as told about Domon's statement. I went with the help of a bulter, Fujimura-san, to my room. Fujimura-san excused himself when he noticed I got already comfortable enough to be alone
