Nothing offered Harry Potter a silent comfort quite like a public park. There were numerous benches to choose from, the occasional dog walked by, and Harry could watch the clouds for hours without getting bored. Instead of having his tipped up to watch the clouds however, his head remained down as he let the weight of the world once again rest on his shoulders. Something was missing in his life, and he wished he knew what it was so he would stop feeling so melancholy.

"'Scuse me," a little voice spoke, and Harry looked up in confusion.

"Hi there."

"Are you Mr. Harry Potter?," the child asked, rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet.

"That I am."

"You look sad, so I got you this flower."

"Oh, thank you very much." Harry was touched by the small sweet gesture made by the child. "Did you know sunflowers are my favorites?," Harry asked, twirling it between his fingers.

The child giggled in delight, and Merlin was he the cutest thing Harry had ever seen. Sparkling silver eyes, platinum blonde hair. It wasn't hard to deduce who's child this was, and Harry couldn't help but glance around to look for his father.

"No! Your favorite flower isn't in any of your interviews. That's quite rude, they always ask the same boring questions."

Laughing, Harry patted the bench next to him, and the child looked up at him in awe as he sat down.

"You are all too right, the questions always are the same. What's your name love."

"I'm Scorpius," he introduced, holding his hand out for a handshake. "I'm your biggest fan."

"Well Scorpius, it is absolutely lovely to finally meet my biggest fan. I'm Harry."

"I know! Mr. Harry I watch all of your matches! You're my favorite player! I have your posters and I have your action figure and I have your jersey!"

"Well, it seems like you have quite the collection. But, do you have a Harry Potter autograph?," Harry asked, eyes sparkling.

"No because you don't give autographs because people aren't nice," Scorpius says matter-of-factly.

He really did read and watch all of Harry's interviews, wow.

"Well, you gave me this beautiful flower, and that makes you very nice doesn't it?"

"I like to think so."

"I would be honored to give you my autograph Scorpius."

"Really?! I want to be just like you when I grow up! Daddy says that I can be whatever I want. He says I shouldn't be limited like he was."

"Well, your daddy is very smart. Did you know we went to school together?"

"Yes! Grandpa told me and then daddy made a funny noise and now he tells me all kinds of stories!"

Harry couldn't help but laugh. Serves Lucius Malfoy right for still being tormented by him all these years later.

"What's so funny?"

"Your grandpa didn't like me very much, but your grandma and I get on all right now."

Scorpius gasped and placed a hand on his chest.

"I'll make sure that grandpa likes you now! I'm going to talk with him at Sunday brunch," Scorpius promised.

"You do that. I hope you'll also tell Narcissa that I send my best."

"I will! Can you tell me some stories Mr. Harry? Of you and my daddy? He gets sad telling them sometimes."

"Would you like to sit in my lap? I have loads of stories I can tell," Harry offered, spinning the sunflower stem between his fingers.
