" I want to sit on the top of the world with him and sing a song while we see the sunset."

"Yeah, that's my biggest dream and it doesn't seem to come true anytime soon."

"Why are you always so hopeless about literally everything?"

He starts cutting vegetables again.

"Am I?" I ask

"Of course." This is what he replies.

"I mean your boyfriend will take you there it's not something he can't do."

He continues to talk while he puts oil in the pan and checks pasta it has boiled as if he is trying to avoid eye contact with me but what possibly can he hide from me?

"But, he is always busy, he didn't come to see me and you did."

I say talking about Noah, Isaac looks at me for a second and then gets busy with his work.

"He is a medical student after all," Isaac says

Now I can understand why Isaac is still best friends with Abraham. Isaac just tries to understand everyone's situation. The world needs more men like him.

I try to answer but I hear the bell sound.

"I should go and check," I tell him.

I hope it's not mom, I can't see her freaking out looking at a guy standing in her kitchen and making pasta for her daughter.

But as I open the door I am freaking out now.

It's Noah.

What is he doing here? I want to cry.

" I am so sorry Lilah, I couldn't call you."

He hugs me and kisses me on the forehead.

"Here these are for you."

It's a red rose and a chocolate.

"Thank you, Noah," I say.

I don't know exactly what to do.

"How are your feet? I was worried about you." He sits down to look at my feet.

"It's okay, it's not serious."

I give him my hand to help him stand up and he does.

He hardly takes 6 steps away from the door and it's our kitchen, That's an open kitchen you can see who is present there.

"Hi," Isaac waves his hand to say hi to Noah.

"Who is he ?"
Noah instead asks me.

"He is a friend. He is in my literature class."
I reply looking at my hands.

I know Noah is not cool with that.

"Hi, man." Noah moves towards Isaac.
