INT. METROCOURT POOL - DAY
Danny and Rocco are lounging on the chairs. Danny has his sunglasses on, gazing up to catch the sun and Rocco is scrolling through his phone. He looks over at Danny.
ROCCO
Are we gonna spend all day at the pool?
DANNY
That was my plan. Why? What else do you wanna do?
ROCCO
I dunno. Something. There's only 2 weeks before school.
DANNY
Which is exactly why I plan to do absolutely nothing for the next 2 weeks.
ROCCO
Shouldn't we like you know...plan?
DANNY
For what?
ROCCO
You know...
Danny shrugs.
ROCCO
What Jake said about being hazed.

Danny swings his legs off the chair and faces Rocco.
DANNY
You're not gonna get hazed.
ROCCO
No, YOU'RE not gonna get hazed. You've been hanging out with seniors all summer.
DANNY
And you're practically my brother so...I'll make sure they leave you alone. Don't worry about it.
Jake walks in with his friend Wyatt holding towels. They stop by the bar.
WYATT
Wait, you invited someone else? I thought it was only us.
JAKE
Yeah, she should be here soon.
WYATT
She?!
JAKE
Yeah.
WYATT
So I'm the third wheel?
JAKE
You're not the third wheel. She's just a friend.
WYATT
Good. Because we can't start sophomore year with girlfriends.
Jake looks confused.

Why can't we start school with girlfriends?
WYATT
Because! We're in our prime, man. The whole time you were dating Charlotte was a total drag. We can't go into this year on lockdown. Not when we don't know what our options are.
JAKE
