INT. PENTHOUSE - LIVING ROOM - DAY
Scout stomps into the PH, clearly in a bad mood. Dante looks over from the couch where he's watching TV.
DANTE
Hey you! Did you thank Sophie's mom for the carpool?
SCOUT
Yeah.
Scout tosses her jacket on the desk and kicks off her shoes.
DANTE
Something wrong?
SCOUT
No.
Scout walks over to the couch and sits next to Dante. He watches her as she snuggles close to him and adjusts his arm to fall across her. When she lets out a big sigh, Dante's concern grows. They watch TV in silence.
SCOUT
Dante?
DANTE
Hmm?
SCOUT
Have you ever beaten someone up?
Dante is caught off guard.
DANTE
Why do you ask?
SCOUT
I think I'm gonna have to do it.
Dante is shocked.

Dante turns off the tv and sits up.
DANTE
Why would you have to beat someone up?
SCOUT
It's a long story.
Dante
I got time.
SCOUT
It's Violet. She keeps making fun of my name.
DANTE
What does she say?
SCOUT
She said it's a dog's name. I told her Scout is a character in the book to Kill A Mockingbird.
DANTE
She knows it's your middle name, right?
SCOUT
But she still won't stop. She started barking every time she saw me and got everyone else to bark too.
DANTE
Do you plan to beat up everyone else?
SCOUT
No. Just her. She's kind of the leader. If she falls, they all will.
Scout nonchalantly reaches for a popcorn in a bowl on the table. Dante is speechless.

I don't see how fighting her is going to help. There are other ways to handle this.
