INT. THE SAVOY - NIGHT
Sam and Dante walk into the Savoy. Sam looks around the room.
SAM
Gia's not here yet.
Sam notices Dante looking at his phone.
SAM
Seriously, right now?
DANTE
It's a quick text....and it's done.
Sam glares at him.
DANTE
I'm done, I swear.
They walk over to their table and Dante pulls out Sam's chair.
DANTE
I'm gonna hit the bathroom real quick then get us some drinks.
SAM
I'll have mojito and Gia will have a Perfect Ten with a lemon twist. Two shots of gin, not just one. And make sure it's the top shelf gin.
Dante grins.
DANTE
That is disturbingly specific. Either you're cheating on me or this was a topic of conversation between the two of you at some point.
Sam smiles.
SAM
Maybe.
DANTE
Wait..which one?
Sam playfully shrugs. Dante walks off as Cody enters the club. He walks over to Sam's table.
SAM
Cody?
CODY
Hey.
SAM
Well, aren't you chipper tonight.
CODY
You wouldn't be either if you just got dumped.

SAM
Sasha dumped you?
CODY
Yeah.
SAM
I'm sorry. Did she say why?
CODY
Because according to her, I'm immature.
SAM
No...you?
CODY
That's what I said! One minute everything's fine. She even invited me to a mixer for Deception. The next, she is saying that I was embarrassing her. Apparently everything about me that she used to find charming is suddenly offensive.
SAM
Hmmm.
CODY
Dante here?
SAM
Yeah he's in the bathroom but I have a sneaking suspicion he is off in some corner texting for work. He's supposed to be getting us drinks.
