After a painfully long hour, with several occasions where Gojo would whisper random words into my ear like "He's dumb as fuck" or "does he even have a brain" and "it's just a comedy at this point", the movie was finally over.

I let out a sigh, and the lights in the hall lit up.

"So, how was the movie?" Geto asks as we walk out of the cinema hall.

"It was dumb" Gojo said, shrugging.

"It was okayish" Shoko says.

Who gives a fuck about the movie anyway, she thinks.

Geto turns to me.
"And what about you?"

The realization suddenly dawned upon me that I didn't have a single goddamn CLUE of what the movie was about.

The movie wasn't what had my attention.
It was the certain peculiar man beside me with his hands in his pockets.

We get outside, and I look at the sky.

"Damn, it's already so dark outside" I exclaim.

"Wait, what time is it again?" I say, and reach into my purse for my phone.

Gojo shoves his wrist in front of my face, showing me the time.

I can't really read his expression.

Geto and Shoko look at each other.

"Oh, thanks" I say.

I try hard to remember what time I just read.

Oh yeah. It's already around 7:30.

"Y/n, how did you come here?" Shoko asks.

"I took a cab, why?" I reply.

"I was just thinking that it would be really convenient if Gojo dropped you, since you both will take the same route" she says.

Fuck.

"No it's fi-"

"I'll take you, come on" Gojo interrupts.

"You brought your car?" I ask.

He points at his car.

I nod.

How do I get myself out of this.

Gojo's being extra polite today, Geto thinks.

Huh? That's weird.

"Okay then guys, we'll take off now" Geto announces.

Once they leave, I turn to Gojo.

"They should just start dating already, don't you think?" I ask.

"EXACTLY, but that dumbass is too shy to confess. He thinks he'll end up getting rejected, he's too oblivious." He says, while we walked towards his car.

He opens the door for me.

"Thanks" i say smiling.

"By the way, we didn't get the chance to officially introduce each other, directly" he says, while driving.

"Well in that case, hi! I'm y/n, I suck at studies, I waste my time a lot, and I love music!" I say, instantly cringing at my failed attempt to sound funny.
But I was just saying the truth.

He laughs loudly.

I can't help but smile to myself upon seeing the way he throws his head back, laughing like a little kid.

"Your laugh is really contagious" I point out.

He slows down, and- blushes?
No, I must be hallucinating.

"Haha, that's the first time someone's ever said that to me" he says.

"I find that surprising" I say shrugging.

He doesn't speak for a moment.

"Well, I'm Satoru Gojo, I don't know what I'm doing most of the time, I love sweets, and , as you already know, I'm a horrible singer." He says.

I chuckle.
"Wow, brief" I say.

He smiles, and I can feel my body slowly recovering from its tensed state. I don't feel like I'm treading on eggshells anymore.

"You do realise you didn't really tell me where you live right?" He asks.

I facepalm.
"Oh shit, I feel so stupid lol." I say

I tell him my address.

"Oh that's good, it's pretty close to the college right?" He asks.

"Yeah, it's actually only a 5 minute walk from there"

He nods, as if making a mental remark.

Oh boy, how I wish I could read your mind.
