Roman POV

Yawning, I stretched before rubbing my eyes tiredly. God that had been a night, a crazy long night. I couldn't help but smile as I thought back on it. I slowly rolled to my side, expecting to find Larissa next to me, but she wasn't there. Even the sheet on her side of the bed was already cold. She must have been gone for a while.

I sat up and looked around. Then I swung my legs out of bed before picking up my clothes from the floor. Or at least the part of it that I could find. That was only my boxer shorts and jeans, though. I had no idea where the rest had gone.

Then I left the bedroom and went in search of Larissa. I thought she was in the living room or the kitchen, but she wasn't there. Instead, I heard her soft voice in the nursery. I cautiously poked my head in. Smiling, I saw Larissa sitting in the rocking chair with Clementine as Mini Miss eagerly drank her bottle.

And although I had seen this picture many times in the last few months, this time was special. These two... They really had my whole heart without even trying.

"Slow down my darling... you have time." Larissa said gently as Clem held her bottle with both hands.

"Good morning, you two," I said quietly so as not to startle her.

Larissa looked up and gave me a dazzling, somewhat tired smile. She looked so stunning. She was wearing nothing but a tank top and panties. Her hair was tousled and her face was bare. Apparently she had washed off her makeup sometime during the night. Not that she needed it. She looked gorgeous with or without it.

"Good morning, Ro... Did you sleep well?" she wanted to know.

"Like a rock..." I admitted as I walked over to her to give her a good morning kiss.

"Oh, I know... You were out like a light. The baby was awake twice during the night and you didn't notice a thing." she laughed.

"Well... what can I say... You wore me out, baby girl." I replied, a little embarrassed.

"Don't worry. I see that as a big compliment. Why don't you go to the kitchen? The coffee should be ready. I'll just freshen up the young lady and then we'll be with you," Larissa suggested.

"Sounds good, Mommy. See you in a minute Mini Miss." I replied and gave her another kiss.

And it wasn't long before the two girls came into the kitchen to keep me company. When the baby saw me, she immediately started kicking her arms and legs as she stretched out towards me. I gladly took her in my arms.

"Hi pretty girl. How was breakfast?" I asked Clem as I sat down at the table with her.

Larissa washed out her bottle before filling her cup with coffee and sitting down with us. The baby cooed and babbled to me as if we were having a very serious conversation. It was definitely the cutest thing imaginable.

"She has you so wrapped around her finger," her mommy noted.

She propped her elbow on the table and rested her chin on her hand as she watched us dreamily.

"She does. So did you, just so you know." I replied and winked at her.

"Ditto, Mr. Reigns. So... what would you like for breakfast?" she wanted to know.

"You, but... that's another topic... What do you say I take my girls out for breakfast?" I replied, kissing Clem's little hand as she tried to cover my mouth again.

"I think that would be nice. Then we can go to your place. If I'm not mistaken, you have to pack." Larissa said.

"Oh da- darn! I forgot all about that. Good thing I have such a great assistant. That gives me an idea... Why aren't you coming with me this week?" I asked.

"Are you serious? That would be fantastic. I've never been to New York before!" she immediately cheered.

She jumped up and took the baby out of my arms so that she could hold her and sit on my lap.

"Sorry, baby. But you'll have to share for a moment." she said to Clem.

I couldn't help but laugh. It was the kind of enthusiasm I liked. I had kind of expected her to say no, or at least have some reservations.

Larissa gave me a long kiss before looking at me again. I had one hand on her thigh and stroked it gently.

"I'm happy to have you with me. And who knows, maybe we can do this more often," I said.

"I guess these are the advantages of sleeping with the boss, huh?" Larissa asked with a loud laugh.

"Well.... I guess you could call it a promotion." I said as I joined in her laughter.
