•Christmas Tree Farm•

Christmas Tree's are one of the most essential pieces of Christmas, in my opinion anyway. I however have yet to get a Christmas tree, which is why I'm currently on my way to our local Christmas tree farm to get a fresh one!

"Good Morning Y/n!" The owner, Jim, smiled at me as I exited my car. "Hi Jim, how are you today?" I asked while scanning around the large farm full of trees. "I'm doing pretty good, so are the trees this year," he smiled excitedly. "That's good to hear!" Last year there was a large shortage of trees, termites had gotten to them and rotted all the wood.

After a bit of small talk with Jim, and a cup of hot cocoa, I started to walk through all the trees, admiring each one. I want the perfect Christmas tree, but not too big because my ceilings aren't as high as my childhood home.

I think I've finally found the perfect tree, half way down the farm, I'm not sure how I'm gonna get this back up there...

"It's a lovely tree," a deep voice spoke. I turned around staring directly at a chest, I looked up, a man smiled down at me. He wore a plaid coat, tan work boots, a pair of jeans, and some sun glasses, he's very handsome. "Oh, uh yes! It is, it's the perfect tree," I stammered over my words with a shy smile. The man chuckled and held out his hand, "I'm Nick." "Y/n," I shook his hand. "Pretty name for a pretty lady," he smiled. "I bet you say that to all the girls," I rolled my eyes jokingly. "Mmm, just the ones named Y/n," he smirked. He's very charming. "I'm starting to think you walked up to me to flirt instead of telling me my tree was lovely." "You would be very correct," he laughed. "Well flirt your way into helping me cut this tree down, please." I smiled sweetly. "Yes ma'am!"

Nick helped me cut the tree down, unfortunately my car was way too small to even put the tree on top, I've been meaning to get a bigger car, but I've not got around to it. Thankfully, Nick offered to drive it to my house for me, I could've had Jim deliver it later in the day, but Nick insisted. I was a bit hesitant seeing as he's a complete stranger, handsome so handsome, but he's a stranger.

Nick told me to go sit down, told me he'd handle the tree, so I did. As much as I'd love to be out there helping, I've had a long week of work and I need to relax, but I needed a tree first. "Where are we putting this beauty?" He questioned as he walked through the door. "Right there," I pointed to an open corner in my living room.

Nick placed the tree on the ground, he even took the nets off of it and fluffed it out for me. The guy practically made me swoon. A handsome man delivering my Christmas tree and fluffing it out for me was not in my bingo card this year. He'd shrugged off his coat a while ago, he was wearing a tight tan turtle neck that stuck to his body, outlining his shape perfectly, especially his biceps, and I could not look away. I sat silently on my couch, sipping my hot coffee, staring at this strangers biceps.

"All done," his deep voice pulled me from my thoughts. I smiled at him, then turned my head towards the tree, it looked lovely, it'd be even more lovely once it's decorated in lights and ornaments. "Thank you, Nick." The man nodded, he stepped back to admire the tree just as I'd done seconds ago. "Well I should be on my way," he spoke, a sad smile on his face. "I'll walk you out," I stood up, a small blanket still wrapped around my shoulders, my cup of coffee in hand.

"Thank you again, Nick." I smiled at the man. "Yeah, anytime," he smiled. "Have a good Christmas!" I smiled and waved him off. "You too," I heard a small crack in his voice. He stopped before he got to his truck, he turned around, "Y/n, I- can I take you out sometime?" He rambled out. I smiled to myself, I was glad he'd asked. "Yes," I nodded my head with a smile. "Yes!" He pumped his fist in the air, I chuckled at his boyish antics.

Good Morning loveeees🫶🏻

I hope you're all doing well, I apologize for being so inactive, with the holiday season I've been so busy shopping and gift wrapping, and cleaning, I've hardly had time to even consider writing an imagine. So I apologize, I know so many of you have requested, I promise I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

Much love!🩷
