"He belongs to the Maze. We all do,"Gally trembled as he held the gun at Thomas. Everyone was frozen in horror. Then, the bullet went off.
Once you manage to regain your senses as Chuck jumped in front of Thomas you knew you wouldn't let him die. Before he had the chance to be a hero so young you shoved him out of the way.
That's when you felt the sudden pain in your throat. You slumped to the floor as you were gasping for air. The metallic taste of blood filled my mouth and the scent consumed your nostrils. You wouldn't die with the smell of nature or something nice. You would die smelling and tasting your own blood.
"No! Y/N!"Chuck yelled, kneeling next to you. You couldn't respond as more painful breaths left your body. Minho was the first to recover and turned you on your back to stop the choking as if that was the problem. All it did was get the crimson all over the gray floor. The awful, cold floor.
"Y/N, please don't leave,"Chuck begged. For once you were unable to comfort him.
With one last gasp you closed your eyes and took your final breath without realizing it had all been for nothing.
If you knew the Scorch would kill him you wonder if you would have done it again.
