out of curiosity, the human looked at what the message was "Aww she sent you a heart, I normally do that with Amity" Luz smiled and looked up at the grimwalker
his face had a bit of a red tint to it from the heart, he typed some emojis saying 'Hey :)'
At this point, the 2 texted each other when they weren't near each other, it felt nice making each, most of the day and night you both texted, it really did feel like you were the next version of Lumity..

"Ra ra ra ra? Am I doing this right?" Gus turned to Vee
Vee corrects him by saying what Gus tried to say in Spanish.
"Perfecto! You're our top student!" the bird from the creepy owl app called out
Amity glared down at the screen "Hm" then glazed to the side, mumbling "I was the top student once"
Meanwhile, the little red bird kept pecking his beak around the floors of the cottage, while the small kitten tried scratching the floor slightly
Gus, Hunter and Y/n watched "They're still doing that huh?" with a raised eyebrow "The 2 won't tell us what their looking for" Hunter shrugged a bit, seemingly concerned a bit.
then the cottage door opened, and Camila smiled "Hi- Ooo! I like what you've done with the place, no more exposed nails or possum nests! But this still confuses me" She opened the door fully, exposing the drawing of hooty on the door as the red paint drips a bit
"Yeah, he still confuses us" Willow said, sitting on a beam bag chair next to Gus
"Hola Camila" Gus got up and waved "we're learning Spanish from this scary owl app" he turned the iPad showing the blue bird.
"Hoot hoot! practice every day, or I'll appear in your nightmares" Duolingo said out loud.
Y/n mumbled "Reminds me of Hooty a bit" their shrugged as Hunter nodded as he agreed a bit with a bit of a chuckle
"Oh.. okay, well I'm going to be picking up Luz from school- pop quiz Cómo se dice eso en español?" She raised her eyebrow with a smile
Hunter stood up proudly "Oh oh oh! Voy-... a Luz.. eh escuela?" he said, confused a bit
"Voy a recoger a Luz de la escuela" Vee smiled, as Hunter looked at her with his ears drooping.
Camila put her hands together "Muy bueno! keep it up" She smiled as she walked away from the cottage
The group went back to learning Spanish from the bird app until Amity spoke up "Maybe we should take a break, we have been here for months, and we've made no progress on the portal door, we can't expect Camila to take care of us forever!" Her voice turned worried and stressed.
"In the meantime, we could put more wait on the kitchen! my mustard revioli did bring tears to her eyes" Gus said proudly
Y/n commented "Those aren't the kinds of tears your thinking of"
The group subjected ways to help but none would have worked, meanwhile, you just stared at Flapjack and Cookie clawing or pecking the floor, then noticed Amity going close to them, now starting to think it be a bit unsafe
