The heavy opening riff to Def Leppard's Animal played as Connor drove down the busy Los Angeles freeway towards Johnny and Miguel's Reseda apartments where he was meeting Erica.

Connor pulled into the apartment complex and parked next to Erica's mustang. After locking his mustang, he walked into Johnny's apartment, where Erica was grabbing a beer from the fridge. "How's Miguel doing?" she asked

"Hey guys." Connor smiled as he set his keys on the coffee table.

"Hey babe." Erica smiled as she grabbed a beer for him.

"Hey man." Johnny said then sighed. "Miguel's got some therapist working on his legs, she gets free therapy from the hospital."

Erica and Connor took a seat on the couch and opened their beers. "It's not free, it's covered on our insurance." Connor said

"Connor's right. It's going to take him a while to get back on his feet again." Erica said as she sipped her beer. "Physical therapy helps with his recovery"

"So letting a hippie stretch his legs is therapy?" Johnny retorted

"C'mon man." Connor said as he wrapped his arm around Erica

Erica rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Yes, pretty much, he's a licensed therapist."

"Johnny, unless you're considering giving him physical therapy, you need to leave it to the professionals." Connor said

Johnny turned his head to Erica and Connor. "Physical therapist? That doesn't sound hard." he said as he stood up

Erica caught on to her uncle's idea. "Uncle Johnny, I think he was joking."

"Yeah, Johnny, I was kidding." Connor said, as he also caught on to his best friend's idea. "Please tell me you are not thinking of doing anything dumb."

"No, I've got a plan, and since you two are doctors, you're gonna help me." Johnny said

Erica and Connor sat near the balcony of the second floor, watching Johnny attach a swimsuit magazine to the end of a fishing rod. "I cannot believe we're actually helping you with this. Like that's gonna help Miguel walk again."
