For me its the bad planning.
Even if we forget the other stuffs, if they want Yudhistir to be the king, they should've brought Pandu's family back the moment they had a child. I do feel bad for Pandavs but they also got biased by the entire family so obviously Duryodhaan is bound to hate him.
And why didn't they send Shakunee back if they know he is bad influence!!???
